Il corso deve contribuire al raggiungimento dei seguenti obiettivi: individuare le terapie più utili alla cura del paziente affetto da Disturbo Mentale a partire dalle Linee-guida sul trattamento psichiatrico derivante dalla medicina basata sulle evidenze.

Il modulo fornisce allo studente l’acquisizione e l’approfondimento delle interrelazioni tra i contenuti delle neuroscienze, della clinica psichiatrica e della psicofarmacologia nella dimensione della complessità e dell’integrazione delle funzioni del SNC.

2.      Principali classi di farmaci psichiatrici:

2.1.   Antidepressivi

2.2.   Ansiolitici/ipnotici

2.3.   Antipsicotici

2.4.   Stabilizzanti dell’umore

Primo semestre.

Esame orale per Psichiatria e Psicofarmacologia con valutazione dell’apprendimento e della comprensione degli argomenti svolti nel Corso mediante caso clinico e domande di approfondimento su altri argomenti.

The Course aims to reach the following goal: the identification of the most useful therapies to the care and cure of the patient suffering from mental disorder, starting from the Guidelines of psychiatric treatment deriving from the EBM approach.


The teaching module allows the student to learn about, and further develop, the interrelationships between the contents of neuroscience, clinical psychiatry and psychopharmacology in the dimension of the CNS complexity and the integration of functions.

2.2.   Anxyolytics/hypnotics

2.3.   Antipsychotics

2.4.   Mood stabilizers


Knowledge of the preparatory courses indicated in the rule book of the Medical Degree.

First semester.

Oral exam in Psychiatry and Psychopharmacology with evaluation of learning and knowledge of the topics studied during the Course through a clinical case study and in-depth questions on other topics.
