Didattica della Lingua Inglese

Durante i 10 incontri, di 4 ore ciascuno, gli studenti imaprano a conoscere e a utilizzare metodologie, strategie e strumenti per una didattica attiva di insegnamento della lingua inglese, rivolto ai young learners, ovvero bambini nella fascia d'età 8 - 12 anni, ovvero delle classi terza, quarta e quinta.

Questi gli argomenti presentati e trattati:

  3. Storytelling
  4. Lapbook
  5. INVALSI
  6. Il libro di testo (se e come usarlo)
  7. La valutazione

Con questo laboratorio, attraverso una costante e partecipata frequenza, si intende fare comprendere agli studenti che una didattica attiva, attenta ai bisogni, interessi e capacità dei bambini trasforma l'apprendimento della lingua inglese in un'esperienza, oltre che piacevole e divertente, anche naturale.

Ulteriore e altrettanto imprtante obiettivo del laboratorio, completamente svolto in lingua inglese, è quello di potenziare e migliorare la padronanza della lingua da parte degli studenti.

Gli studenti lavorano sempre in piccolo gruppo, dove creano materiali e progettano attività e lezioni con la supervisione costante del/della docente. Tutte le attività vengono puntualmente condivise con la classe intera e insieme si osservano e si evidenziano punti di forza e aree di miglioramento di ogni lavoro presentato, di cui il gruppo deve tenere conto, apportando le modifiche al proprio lavoro.

Sono consigliati testi, siti, video, pagine social, app, etc allo scopo di fornire risorse utili per svolgere i compiti assegnati nel laboratorio, ma alle quali poter ricorso una volta diventati insegnanti.

  • Altri libri di testo possono essere consigliati dal docente nel corso del laboratorio, perché ritentui utili per lo svolgimento delle attività.

Ogni studente deve partecipare attivamente alle attività di laboratorio, interagendo in lingua con gli altri studenti sotto la supervisione del docente.

English Language Teaching

During the 10 meetings, lasting 4 hours each, the students know and learn how to use methodologies, strategies and tools for an active teaching of English language, aimed at young learners, i.e. children in the age group 8 - 12 years, (the third, fourth and fifth grades).

These are the topics presented and covered:

  1. Reading and Writing
  2. C.L.I.L
  3. Storytelling
  4. Lapbooks
  5. INVALSI
  6. The textbook (if and how to use it)
  7. The evaluation

This workshop, through constant and lively attendance, has the aim to make students understand that active teaching, attentive to the needs, interests and abilities of children, turns learning the English language into an experience that is not only pleasant and entertaining, but also natural.

A further and equally important objective of the workshop, carried out entirely in English, is to strengthen and improve the students' mastery of the language.

Students always work in small groups, where they create materials and plan activities and lessons with the constant supervision of the teacher. All the activities are promptly shared with the whole class and together, the strengths and areas for improvement of each work presented are observed and highlighted. the group must take the teacher's and the other students' feedback into account by making changes to their work.

Texts, sites, videos, social pages, apps, etc. are recommended in order to provide useful resources both for carrying out the tasks assigned in the laboratory and which can be drawn on once they become teachers.

  • Other textbooks can be recommended by the teacher during the workshop, because they are considered useful for carrying out the activities.

Each student must actively participate in the workshop activities, interacting in language with the other students under the supervision of the teacher.
