Fornire allo studente esperienza diretta della gestione di pazienti con particolare riferimento al decorso post operatorio del paziente cardiochirurgico.

Fornire allo studente esperienza diretta dell'esecuzione dei principali interventi cardiochirurgici

Lo studente affiancherà il medico-tutore durante la sua giornata lavorativa in reparto e/o in sala operatoria.

Lo studente affiancherà il medico–tutore durante il quotidiano giro visita in reparto ed in terapia intensiva apprendendo i principi della terapia farmacologica post operatoria nel paziente cardiochirurgico e la gestione dei drenaggi toracici e del pace-maker.

Durante la frequenza in sala operatoria lo studente verrà introdotto all'anatomia cardiaca, ai principi di gestione della circolazione extra-corporea ed alla tecnica  di esecuzione dei principali interventi cardiochirurgici (bypass aorto-coronarico, sostituzione valvolare mitralica ed aortica) anche mediante tecnica mini-invasiva.


Attività a scelta per studenti dal 5 anno di corso.

Frequenza in reparto e in sala operatoria.

Provide the student with direct experience in the management of patients with particular reference to the post-operative course of the cardiac surgery patient.
Provide the student with direct experience in the execution of the main cardiac surgery operations.

The student will support the doctor-guardian during his working day in the ward and / or in the operating room

The student will support the doctor-tutor during the daily visit in the ward and in intensive care unit, learning the principles of post-operative pharmacological therapy in the cardiac patient and the management of thoracic drainage and pacemaker.
During the frequency in the operating room the student will be introduced to the cardiac anatomy, the principles of management of the extra-corporal circulation and the technique of execution of the main cardiac surgery (coronary artery bypass, mitral valve and aortic replacement) also by minimal- invasive.
