Obiettivi
Il corso si propone di fornire agli studenti gli strumenti pratici essenziali per poter riconoscere segni e sintomi di alcune patologie, formularne la diagnosi, verificare le possibili diagnosi differenziali ed impostarne correttamente la terapia secondo le linee guida più aggiornate.
Contenuti sintetici
Manifestazioni cliniche, diagnosi differenziale, processo diagnostico ed impostazione terapeutica delle patologie elencate sotto "programma esteso".
Programma esteso
Le patologie che verranno trattate sono le seguenti:
Insufficienza surrenalica, inquadramento clinico e follow-up dell'adenoma surrenalico
Tromboembolia polmonare
Iponatremia
Anemie
Verranno anche presentati studi recentemente pubblicati, inerenti a specifici aspetti delle patologie trattate.
Prerequisiti
Conoscenze
relative ai corsi propedeutici indicati nel regolamento del Corso di Laurea.
Modalità didattica
Lezioni frontali con utilizzo di presentazioni in power-point , generalmente organizzate con esposizione di un caso clinico interattivo seguito da esposizione dei fondamentali aspetti clinici, diagnosi differenziale e terapia.

Aims
The aim of the course is to provide students with the essential practical tools to be able to recognize signs and symptoms of some pathologies, formulate their diagnosis, verify possible differential diagnoses and correctly set their therapy according to the most updated guidelines.
Contents
Clinical manifestations, differential diagnosis, diagnostic process and therapeutic setting of the pathologies listed under "detailed program".
Detailed program
The pathologies that will be treated are the following:
Adrenal insufficiency, clinical framework and follow-up of the adrenal adenoma
Pulmonary thromboembolism
Hyponatremia
Anemia
Recently published studies on specific aspects of the pathologies treated will also be presented.
Prerequisites
Knowledge related to the preparatory courses indicated in the regulations of the University.
Teaching form
Frontal lessons by power-point presentations, generally organized with an interactive case report followed by an exposition of the fundamental clinical aspects, differential diagnosis and therapy.

Assessment method
Oral examination. The exams will be streamed on the webex platform in relation to the regulations related to the COVID-19 emergency. Any decisions ordered by the University will be communicated at the appropriate time.
