Il Corso si propone di fornire agli studenti gli strumenti pratici essenziali per poter effettuare un processo  diagnostico-terapeutico riguardo le patologie cardiache e cardiovascolari

Comprensione delle problematiche del paziente cardiovascolare e apprendimento del processo diagnostico-terapeutico chirurgico

Storia della Cardiochirurgia, circolazione extracorporea, cardioplegia, arresto di circolo, cardiopatie congenite

Bypass Aorto-coronarico, complicanze dell'infarto

Valvulopatie Aortiche e Mitralica, nuove tecniche di impianto e devices

Endocarditi, Neoplasie cardiache

Aneurismi, Dissecazione aortica, tecniche endovascolari

Chirurgia dello scompenso, Sistemi di assistenza Ventricolare, Trapianto Cardiaco  

Prerequisiti

Iscrizione al sesto anno del corso di Laurea in Medicina e Chirurgia

Conoscenze cardiologiche

Modalità didattica

Il corso si articola in 6 lezioni di 2 ore

Gli insegnamenti verranno erogati in modalità “in presenza”, salvo successive diverse disposizioni ministeriali legate all’emergenza pandemica

Aims

The course aims to provide students with the practical tools essential to be able to carry out a diagnostic-therapeutic process regarding cardiac and cardiovascular diseases


Contents

Understanding of the cardiovascular patient's problems and learning of the surgical diagnostic-therapeutic process


Detailed program

History of cardiac surgery, extracorporeal circulation, cardioplegia, circulation arrest, congenital heart disease

Coronary artery bypass grafting, complications of heart attack

Aortic and Mitral Valvular Diseases, new implantation techniques and devices

Endocarditis, Cardiac neoplasms

Aneurysms, Aortic dissection, endovascular techniques

Heart Failure Surgery, Ventricular Assistance Systems, Cardiac Transplantation


Prerequisites

Enrollment in the sixth year of the Degree in Medicine and Surgery

Cardiological knowledge


Teaching form

The course is divided into 6 lessons of 2 hours

Lessons will be provided in presence, subject to any ministerial changes following the COVID pandemic situation
