• MEDICAL CLINIC, SURGERY AND PRIMARY CARE
Carry out a proper dermatological examination
- Recognize primary and secondary elementary skin lesions.
Recognize and diagnose skin diseases of known cause:
- Parasitic (pediculosis and scabies),
- Fungal (ringworm, pityriasis versicolor, candidiasis)
- Bacterial (folliculitis, boil, honeycomb, impetigo, erysipelas, ecthyma),
- Viral (herpes simplex, herpes zoster, molluscum, warts).
Recognize and diagnose the following allergic or iatrogenic diseases:
- Atopic dermatitis (eczema)
- Allergic contact dermatitis (eczema)
- Seborrheic dermatitis
- Dyshidrotic eczema
- Urticaria / angioedema
- Drug reactions (polymorphic erythema, Stevens-Johnson syndrome,
Lyell)
Recognize and diagnose the following inflammatory diseases:
- Psoriasis
- Lichen ruber planus
- Acne vulgaris
Know and suspect the main autoimmune bullous dermatitis of the skin:
- Pemphigus
- Pemphigoid
- Herpetiform dermatitis
Know and suspect the cutaneous manifestations of collagenopathies:
- Lupus erythematosus
- Scleroderma
- Dermatomyositis
Know and suspect the main skin cancers:
- Basal and squamous cell carcinoma
- Actinic keratosis, leukoplakia, leukokeratosis, erythroplasia,
- Keratoacanthoma
- Melanocytic naevi and melanomas,
- Kaposi's sarcoma and cutaneous lymphomas
• INTEGRATED SYSTEMATIC PATHOLOGY
Diagnose and indicate therapeutic guidelines in the most frequent mycoses of the skin and mucous membranes with particular reference to candidiasis.
• REPRODUCTIVE AND MATERNO-FETAL MEDICINE
Know, suspect and refer the following sexually transmitted diseases to specialist centers:
Syphilis
Gonorrhea
HIV infection
Non-specific urethritis
Acuminate warts
Prerequisites
Knowledge relating to the preparatory courses indicated in the degree program regulations
