Aims:

For first-year PhD students: to be able to choose and discuss an article in public. For second-year PhD students: discuss a technique they use highlighting strengths and critical issues.

Descrtiption:

This teaching activity is organized every 15 days from March to June. The meetings are organized as follows: one or two first-year students present an article that is discussed with the other students and with some members of the teaching staff. In the same meeting one or two second-year students describe a technique used in their research project and emphasize its usefulness, effectiveness but also its defects. To discuss with the second-year students, members of the teaching board who have experience with the techniques on display are invited

The members of the teaching board present give an opinion to the students' exposures
