Obiettivo del corso e vedere tutti i diversi aspetti dell'ipertensione arteriosa partendo dall'essenziale fino alle forme resistenti e secondarie passando per le emergenze ed urgenze ipertensive.

Programma esteso

  • Ipertensione arteriosa essenziale: fisiopatologia, criteri diagnostici, terapia.
  • Ipertensione arteriosa secondaria: iperaldosteronismo e feocromocitoma, diagnosi e terapia.
  • Ipertensione arteriosa resistente: definizione, diagnosi, approcci terapeutici farmacologici e non farmacologici.
  • Emergenze ed urgenze ipertensive: definizioni, epidemiologica, trattamento farmacologico specifico.

Prerequisiti

Aver seguito le lezioni di ipertensione arteriosa primaria e secondaria del 3° anno (PMC1).

Modalità didattica

Lezioni dal vivo con frequenza dell'ambulatorio ipertensione arteriosa dell'ospedale Niguarda.

Materiale didattico

Linee guida ESH/ESC 2018 ipertensione arteriosa.

Aims

Aims of the course is to discuss all the aspect of hypertension starting from essential form till resistant and secondary form passing through hypertensive emergency and urgency.

  • Essential Hypertension
  • Resistant hypertension
  • Secondary hypertension
  • Hypertensive emergency and urgency.

Detailed program

  • Essential Hypertension: physiopatology, diagnostic criteria, therapy.
  • Resistant hypertension: definition, diagnosys, pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapies.
  • Secondary hypertension: hyperaldosteronism and pheocromocytoma, diagnosys and therapies.
  • Hypertensive emergency and urgency: definition, epidemiology, specific pharmacological therapies.

Prerequisites

To have followed the primary and secondary hypertension lessons at the third year (PMC1).

Teaching form

On-site lessons with attendance of the hypertension outpatients unit of the Niguarda Hospital.

Textbook and teaching resource

ESH/ESC guidelines on arterial hypertension (2018).
