Course Syllabus
Obiettivi
- esporre gli aspetti legislativi nell’ambito della psichiatria
- illustrare i principi dell’inquadramento della malattia mentale secondo la classificazione DSM-IV-TR:
- fornire conoscenze sufficienti alla comprensione dei tratti principali di Schizofrenia e altri Disturbi Psicotici, i Disturbi dell’Umore (Depressivi, Bipolari) con approfondimento della tematica relativa al suicidio Disturbi d’Ansia e i Disturbi di Personalità.
Programma esteso
- Quadro introduttivo sull’incidenza presente e futura della sofferenza psichica e della trasformazione delle patologie psichiche;
- Organizzazione dei servizi prima e dopo la legge 180 (legge Basaglia,1978) fino allo stato attuale;
- Aspetti legislativi nell’ambito della psichiatria (Trattamento Sanitario Obbligatorio ecc.)
- La malattia mentale secondo la classificazione DSM-IV-TR:
1. Schizofrenia e altri Disturbi Psicotici;
2. Disturbi dell’Umore (Depressivi, Bipolari) con approfondimento della tematica relativa al suicidio;
3. Disturbi d’Ansia;
4. Disturbi di Personalità, con attenzione specifica per il Disturbo di Personalità Borderline.

Aims
- know the legal aspects in the psychiatry framework
- know the placement of the mental disease based on the DSM-IV TR classification.
- know the principal aspects of schizophrenia and other psycothic disorders, the mood disorders (depression, Bipolarism) with in-depth on suicide, anxiety disorder and personality disorders
Detailed program
- introductive framework on the present and future incidence of the psychic sufferance and of the transformation of the psychic diseases. - organization of the services before and after the law 180 (legge Basaglia 1978) until the actual state.
- law aspects in psychiatry (obligatory sanitary treatment etc..)
- the mental disease based on the DSM-IV-TR classification
1 schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders
2 mood disorders (drepresion and bipolarism) with focus on the suicide theme
3 anxious disorders
4 personality disorders, with focus on the borderline personality disorder
