Obiettivi
- Sapere riconoscere i segni ed i sintomi delle malattie reumatologiche.
- Interpretare e valutare criticamente i risultati degli esami di laboratorio e strumentali per la diagnosi e il monitoraggio di malattia.
- Aquisire nozioni sulla prognosi e sulla misura degli esiti di malattia delle principali malattie reumatologiche.
- Comprendere gli approcci più appropriati di terapia riabilitativa delle malattie reumatologiche.
Contenuti sintetici
REUMATOLOGIA
- Classsificazione delle malattie reumatiche.
- Elementi di semeiotica (esame obiettivo articolare, esami di laboratorio, imaging).
- Artropatie infiammatorie, connettiviti sistemiche: epidemiologia, quadri clinici, indagini di laboratorio e strumentali, criteri diagnostici/classificativi
- Approcci riabilitativi alle malattie reumatologiche

Nella trattazione saranno sottolineate le differenze di genere nella prevalenza, espressività clinica, evoluzione, risposta terapeutica delle malattie reumatiche.
Prerequisiti
Avere superato gli esami indicati in regolamento relativamente alle propedeuticità.
Modalità didattica
Lezioni frontali interattive con domande e risposte in tempo reale (interactive presentation software), discussione casi clinici.
Le lezioni saranno anche videoregistratore e disponibili su richiesta.

Modalità di verifica del profitto e valutazione
L’accertamento del raggiungimento degli obiettivi previsti dal corso prevede un esame a a domande chiuse ed un esame orale.
La prova scritta ha la finalità di accertare conoscenze puntuali importanti sule principali patologie reumatologiche di interesse riabilitativo.
I criteri di valutazione della prova orale privilegeranno le capacità di diagnostica differenzale tra le patologie.

- To recognize the main signs and symptoms of rheumatological diseases.
- To interpret and critically evaluate the results of laboratory and imaging tests for diagnosis and monitoring.
- To acquire notions on the prognosis and on the measurement of the disease outcomes.
- To understand the most appropriate approaches of rehabilitation therapy for rheumatological diseases.

RHEUMATOLOGY
- Classification of rheumatic diseases.
- Elements of semeiotics (joint physical examination, laboratory tests, imaging).
- Inflammatory arthropathies, connective tissue diseases: clinical pictures, laboratory and instrumental investigations, diagnostic/ classification criteria.
- Rehabilitation appraches to rheumatologic diseases.

PRIMARY ARTHRITIS
- Rheumatoid arthritis
- Axial and peripheral spondyloarthritis
- Differential diagnosis with osteoarthritis
INFECTIOUS ARTHRITIS
- Viral arthritis
- Bacterial and mycobacterial arthritis
CRYSTAL ARTHROPATHIES
- Gout
- Calcium Pyrophosphate Crystal Arthropathy (CPPD)
CONNECTIVE TISSUE DISEASES
- Systemic Sclerosis
EXTRA-ARTICULAR RHEUMATISM
- Fibromyalgia
Gender differences in prevalence, clinical manifestations, outcome, treatment response of rheumatic diseases will be specifically addressed.
Prerequisites
Have passed the exams indicated in the regulation with regard to the preparatory procedures.
Teaching form
Frontal lessons with interactive presentation software, clinical cases discussion.
Lessons will also be recorded and the video lectures will be available on demand.

Assessment method
The assessment of achieved objectives will be verified with written tests and oral exam.
The written test has the purpose of ascertaining important specific knowledge on a the main rheumatological diseases of rheabilitation interest.
The evaluation criteria of the oral exam will privilege the skills of differential diagnosis.
