Obiettivi

Il corso si prefigge di far acquisire agli studenti gli elementi conoscitivi relativi al percorso storico, professionale e disciplinare dell’assistenza ostetrica. Allo studente verranno forniti i fondamenti epistemologici della Midwifery, oltre al Modello concettuale e metodologico dell’Ostetrica/o.

I fondamenti epistemologici e i costrutti paradigmatici della Midwifery.

Il modello concettuale di riferimento: il Midwifery Partnership Model.

Gli ambiti di responsabilità e autonomia dell’Ostetrica/o.

I Diritti Umani nell'assistenza alla nascita.

Programma esteso

Il corpo dottrinale della Midwifery: Midwifery Partnership Model.

I fondamenti epistemologici e le caratteristiche filosofiche delle Scienze Ostetrico-Ginecologiche e Neonatali.

Costrutti della Midwifery: Normalità (Normality/Normal Childbirth); Salute (Salute di genere, Salutogenesi, Salute Primale, One Health); Società/Ambiente; Donna e Midwifery Care (Choice, Control, Continuity, Care, Cure, Educator, Empowerment).

Cenni ICF

Verranno descritti i diritti umani in ostetricia e come essi potrebbero venire violati duranti l'assistenza alla maternità.

Aims

The course aims to let students achieve knowledge about historical, professional and disciplinary path of Midwifery. Students will be provided the Midwifery epistemological foundation and the conceptual and methodological Model for midwife profession.

Contents

Epistemological foundation and paradigmatic constructs of Midwifery.

The reference conceptual model: The Midwifery Partnership Model.

Areas of autonomy and accountability for Midwives.

Human Rights in Childbirth.

Detailed program

The Corpus of Midwifery doctrine: the Midwifery Partnership Model.

Epistemological foundations and philosophical aspects of Obstetric-Gynecological and Neonatal.

The constructs of Midwifery: Normality/Normal Childbirth; Health (Gender Health, Salutogenesis, Primal Health, One Health); Society/ Environment; Woman/Midwifery Care (Choice, Control, Continuity, Care, Cure, Educator, Empowerment).

The ICF.

To describe what human rights are and how they apply to the provision of maternity care.
