Obiettivi

Lo studente deve sapere:

  • Utilizzare correttamente la terminologia impiegata nella diagnosi e trattamento delle principali patologie odontostomatologiche.
  • Conoscere le varie metodiche di imaging e le loro indicazioni nello studio delle patologie orali.

Contenuti sintetici

Al termine del corso lo studente deve avere appreso le principali nozioni di malattie odontostomatologiche necessari allo svolgimento della sua professione. Deve aver inoltre acquisito le basi della terminologia specifica e degli aspetti medico-legali legati alla pratica clinica in ambito odontostomatologico.

Programma esteso

  • Clinica diagnostica e cenni di terapia delle principali patologie sistemiche
  • Le varie metodiche di imaging e le loro indicazioni nello studio delle patologie orali.
  • Le patologie oncologiche ed in particolare l’oncologia orale
  • Le malattie sistemiche con compromissioni orali
  • Cenni di pediatria e pedodonzia

Aims

The student will be able to:

  • Correctly use the terminology used in the diagnosis and treatment of the main odontostomatological pathologies.
  • Know the various imaging methods and their indications in the study of oral pathologies.

Contents

At the end of the course the student must have learned the main notions of odontostomatological diseases necessary to carry out his profession. He must also have acquired the basics of specific terminology and medico-legal aspects related to clinical practice in the odontostomatological field.

Detailed program

  • Clinical diagnostics and notes on therapy of the main systemic pathologies
  • The various imaging methods and their indications in the study of oral pathologies.
  • Oncological pathologies and in particular oral oncology
  • Systemic diseases with oral compromises
  • Notes on pediatrics and pedodontics

4 frontal lessons of 2 hours carried out in attendance
