Obiettivi
Obiettivo del tirocinio è approfondire e finalizzare il percorso iniziato nei precedenti Tironcini di Area 1 e 2. Al termine di questo periodo lo studente deve dimostrarsi in grado di ipotizzare in modo autonomo le diverse fasi del processo diagnostico-gestionale del paziente che afferisce alle strutture di area chirurgica e di individuarne le criticità. Dovrà inoltre dimostrarsi in grado di formulare ipotesi terapeutiche ed affiancare il tutor in tutto il percorso di gestione del paziente ricoverato in area chirurgica specialistica, inclusa la dimissione e le pratiche amministrativo burocratiche necessarie. Il tirocinio è svolto con l’affiancamento di un tutor che guida lo studente nella conoscenza delle procedure diagnostico-strumentali -terapeutiche e amministrative effettuate direttamente al letto del paziente.
Inoltre questo tirocinio, che conferisce allo studente la possibilità di scelta dell'ambito specialistico da frequentare, ha anche l'obiettivo di verificare se quello specifico ambito specialistico possa essere poi scelto per la propria tesi ed eventuale attività professionale post laurea.
Inoltre lo studente potrà decidere di anticipare il tirocinio valutativo e quindi utilizzare le settimane del tirocinio del quinto anno in questo senso, consapevole che verrà valutato nelle sua competenze già più sopra descritte.
Contenuti sintetici
Eseguire un esame obiettivo generale, effettuare un ragionamento critico relativamente agli esami di laboratorio, applicare le tecniche di colloquio con il paziente, imparare a stabilire un corretto rapporto con il malato, imparare ad utilizzare corretti criteri di deontologia professionale, imparare la diagnosi differenziale, imparare ad impostare la terapia medica di supporto, frequentare le attività di sala operatoria ed ambulatoriali, conoscere i percorsi di gestione anche amministrativa del paziente.
Programma esteso
Eseguire un esame obiettivo completo in ambito specialistico, conoscere le principali modalità di monitoraggio emodinamico e clinico del paziente.
Sapere impostare un programma diagnostico ed interpretare i risultati degli esami ematici e di imaging, sapere impostare un percorso terapeutico e saperlo proporre al paziente, sapere relazionarsi con il paziente e la sua famiglia, interagire, comunicare ottenere informazioni cliniche, conoscere e sapere come affrontare il percorso anche amministrativo burocratico necessario per la completa gestione del paziente.
Saper impostare il percorso di preparazione del paziente all'intervento chirurgico, partecipare a gruppi multidisciplinari, conoscere ed impostare i percorsi postchirurgici e post-dimissione.
Inoltre lo studente avrà la possibilità di frequentare le sale operatorie e gli ambulatori specialistici.

Aims
The aim of the Surgical Area 3 internship is the deepening of the path started in the previous Area 1 and 2 internship.
The students will have to prove capable of formulating therapeutic hypotheses and assisting the tutor throughout the management process of the patient admitted to different surgical areas, including discharge and the necessary administrative and bureaucratic procedures. The internship is carried out with the support of a tutor who guides the student in the knowledge of diagnostic-instrumental-therapeutic and administrative procedures performed directly at the patient's bed.
The additional objective of this internship course is the confrontation of the specialist patient, with the note that the specialty has been chosen by the student and that therefore this internship also has the aim of verifying whether that specific specialist area can then be chosen for the own thesis and possible post-graduate professional activity.
Furthermore, the student may decide to anticipate the evaluation internship and then use the weeks of the fifth year internship in this sense, aware that he will be evaluated in his skills already described above
Contents
Carry out a general physical examination, carry out critical reasoning regarding laboratory tests, apply the techniques of interviewing the patient, learn to establish a correct relationship with the patient, learn to use correct criteria of professional ethics, learn differential diagnosis, learn to set up medical therapy, attend an operating room and learn about the patient's management paths, including administrative ones.
Detailed program
Perform a focused physical examination depending on the surgical field, know the main methods of hemodynamic and clinical monitoring of the patient.
Knowing how to set up a diagnostic program and ievaluate the results of blood and imaging tests, knowing how to set up a therapeutic path and knowing how to propose it to the patient, knowing how to relate to the patient and his family, interact, communicate, obtain clinical information, know and know how to face the path also administrative bureaucracy necessary for the complete management of the patient.
Students will acquire knowledge about how to prepare a patient to a surgical procedure, will attend multidisciplinary meetings, and will cohoperate with the tutor in preparing postsurgical pathways and follow-up.
