Obiettivi formativi
1. Conoscenza e capacità di comprensione
Obiettivi: Il corso mira a
a) acquisire le conoscenze e competenze linguistiche, comunicative e metalinguistiche previste dal livello B1 del Quadro Comune Europeo di Riferimento per le Lingue.
b) raggiungere un livello intermedio di conoscenza della grammatica francese (la frase semplice: tempi verbali principali, pronomi, preposizioni, negazione, forma interrogativa).
c) comprendere il lessico tematico relativo a situazioni correnti.
d) sviluppare la comprensione di testi autentici (articoli, schede, grafici, interviste).
2. Capacità di applicare conoscenza e comprensione
Obiettivi: Il corso prevede di :
a) introdurre lo studente alla comprensione orale e scritta di produzioni in lingua straniera, con brevi esercizi scritti e orali che rafforzino le acquisizioni grammaticali.
b) ricorrere ad attività di ascolto e comprensione con audio/video di madrelingua.
c) sviluppare, mediante l’utilizzo di materiale autentico, l’applicazione di tali contenuti, a enunciati e discorsi linguistici con valenza specialistica.
3. Autonomia di giudizio
Obiettivi:
a) Sviluppare la capacità di riflessione sull’uso della lingua e sulle proprie strategie di apprendimento.
b) Argomentare semplici opinioni, preferenze e punti di vista.
c) Stimolare scambi su temi socioeconomici relativi alla Francia tramite riassunti, grafici, domande.
4. Abilità comunicative
Obiettivi:
a) Esprimersi in modo chiaro e comprensibile, oralmente e per iscritto, su argomenti familiari o d’interesse personale.
b) Interagire con relativa spontaneità con parlanti nativi.
c) Sostenere una breve presentazione su un argomento noto.
d) Incoraggiare la produzione orale e scritta su argomenti guidati.
5. Capacità di apprendimento
Lo studente sarà in grado di :
a) Utilizzare correttamente la lingua in contesti quotidiani e professionali semplici.
b) Redigere testi coerenti e coesi (lettere informali, email, schede, descrizioni, brevi argomentazioni).
d) Produrre elementi di analisi comparativa tra lingua e cultura francese e lingua e cultura della lingua madre.

Prerequisiti
Il test scritto è propedeutico all'orale.
Metodi didattici
Durante le lezioni si alterna l'esposizione di contenuti
a) di natura linguistica e
b) relativi alla cultura e al lessico della lingua specialistica (modalità erogativa)
all'interazione con gli studenti in varie attività di produzione linguistica (modalità interattiva).
Il corso comprende
- 21 lezioni da 2 ore svolte in modalità erogativa nella parte iniziale che è volta a coinvolgere gli studenti in modo interattivo nella parte successiva. Le lezioni si tengono in lingua italiana e in lingua francese.
Le attività sono svolte in presenza. In caso di necessità e su richiesta degli studenti, si potranno svolgere lezioni in remoto.
Modalità di verifica dell'apprendimento
La prova di francese consiste in:
- un test scritto che si effettua in laboratorio informatico e consiste in 30 domande di grammatica a risposte multiple o aperte (durata: 35 minuti).
- il voto dello scritto viene espresso in trentesimi. Ogni risposta corretta equivale a un punto; non è penalizzata la risposta scorretta.
- una prova orale: lo studente deve scegliere 6 sezioni sulle 12 presenti nella dispensa. Deve presentarsi all'esame con l'elenco dei testi scelti e la dispensa. Il docente sceglie alcuni dei testi preparati dallo studente, il quale dovrà dimostrare di averli letti e capiti, rispondendo a domande e riassumendone il contenuto.

Learning objectives
1. Knowledge and Understanding
By the end of the course, students will be able to:
- Acquire linguistic, communicative, and metalinguistic competence corresponding to CEFR Level B1.
- Demonstrate an intermediate understanding of French grammar, including simple sentence structures, main verb tenses, pronouns, prepositions, negation and interrogative forms
- Understand thematic vocabulary related to everyday contexts.
- Comprehend authentic written texts, such as articles, information sheets, charts, and interviews.
2. Applying Knowledge and Understanding
The course will develop students’ ability to:
- Comprehend oral and written content in French through targeted exercises that reinforce grammatical concepts.
- Engage in listening and comprehension activities using native speaker audio/video materials.
- Apply knowledge to specialist contexts, using authentic materials to interpret and produce structured discourse.
3. Making Judgements
Students will learn to:
- Reflect critically on language use and develop personal learning strategies.
- Formulate and articulate simple opinions, preferences, and viewpoints.
- Participate in discussions on socio-economic topics related to France, using summaries, charts, and guided questions.
4. Communication Skills
The course will foster students’ ability to:
- Communicate clearly and effectively in spoken and written French on familiar or personally relevant topics.
- Interact spontaneously and appropriately with native speakers.
- Prepare and deliver brief oral presentations on familiar subjects.
- Practice guided oral and written production to enhance fluency and accuracy.
5. Learning Skills
Upon completion, students will be able to:
- Use French correctly in simple daily and professional settings.
- Write coherent and cohesive texts, including informal letters, emails, descriptions, information sheets, and short argumentative texts.
- Conduct basic comparative analysis between French and their native language/culture.

Prerequisites
The written test is preliminary to the oral exam.
Teaching methods
During the classes, the presentation of content
a) of a linguistic nature and
b) relating to the culture and vocabulary of the specialised language ('delivery mode')
is followed by interaction with the students in various language production activities ('interactive mode').
the course consists of
- 21 lessons of 2 hours conducted in delivery mode in the initial part that is aimed at involving students in an interactive mode in the subsequent part. Lessons are held in Italian and French.
All activities are carried out in presence. If needed and upon students' request, classes may be held remotely..
Assessment methods
The exam is divided in two parts:
- a written test held in the computer lab and consisting of 30 grammar multiple- or open-choice questions (duration: 35 minutes).
- the written exam is graded on a scale of thirty. Each correct answer is worth one point; incorrect answers are not penalized.
- an oral test: the student must choose 6 sections out of the 12 in the collection of articles Questions françaises 2023. He/she must attend the examination with the collection of articles and the list of chosen texts. The teacher selects some of the texts prepared by the student, who must demonstrate that he/she has read and understood them, by answering questions and summarising their content.
