Il modulo di Lingua magistrale - Francese (3 cfu) si prefigge di sviluppare le capacità linguistiche nelle quattro attività previste dalla Comunità Europea: scrittura, lettura, comprensione, produzione orale. Lo studente dovrà acquisire e consolidare le competenze linguistiche, comunicative e interculturali utili per operare nel settore della banca e della finanza.

CONOSCENZE E CAPACITÀ DI COMPRENSIONE
Il corso si propone di consolidare e ampliare le strutture linguistiche già acquisite, completando il percorso formativo con lo studio delle competenze linguistiche di livello intermedio-superiore. Particolare attenzione sarà dedicata all’approfondimento di tematicherilevanti per il settore finanziario.

CAPACITÀ DI APPLICARE CONOSCENZA E COMPRENSIONE
Il corso mira:
a) a sviluppare la capacità di comprendere testi scritti e orali in francese standard e in registri più complessi, applicabili a contesti di comunicazione;
b) a promuovere l’impiego di materiali autentici e strumenti interattivi per potenziare l’analisi linguistica e culturale di testi legati alla realtà bancaria/assicurativa/finanziaria.

AUTONOMIA DI GIUDIZIO
Si incoraggia:
a) lo sviluppo di un pensiero critico, attraverso l’interpretazione e la rielaborazione personale di testi autentici in lingua francese;
b) l’utilizzo appropriato del lessico tecnico del settore.

ABILITÀ COMUNICATIVE
Saranno potenziate:
a) le competenze di comprensione di testi scritti, orali e multimediali in francese;
b) la capacità di esprimersi con chiarezza, coerenza e proprietà di linguaggio, favorendo l'integrazione delle quattro abilità fondamentali (comprensione scritta e orale, produzione scritta e orale) secondo i parametri del QCER, anche in contesti lavorativi.

CAPACITÀ DI APPRENDIMENTO
Lo studente sarà in grado di:
a) comprendere e analizzare testi autentici, riformulandoli in modo efficace;
b) affrontare in lingua francese argomenti specifici del proprio percorso di studi, dimostrando crescente autonomia nell’apprendimento linguistico e nell’utilizzo delle risorse utili..

  • Il corso propone un’ampia gamma di letture, esercizi grammaticali e comunicativi, necessari per il raggiungimento di livello per un futuro lavoro nel settore.

  • Un'indagine intorno ad alcune tematiche relative alla lingua, alla cultura, al pensiero, alla società e all’economia, per meglio conoscere e comprendere gli aspetti più vari della comunicazione in ambito economico-finanziario.

Per la parte orale

Comprensione:

Livello B1

Il corso prevede 10 lezioni da 2 ore + una lezione da un'ora, svolte in modalità frontale nella parte iniziale, sviluppate in modo interattivo nella parte successiva.
Durante le lezioni si alterna l'esposizione di contenuti (modalità erogativa frontale)
a) di natura linguistica
b) relativi alla cultura e al lessico della lingua specialistica
all'interazione con gli studenti in varie attività di produzione linguistica (modalità interattiva)
a) dopo ascolto e/o visione di materiale multimediale con scambio spontaneo sul contenuto sia linguistico sia culturale/specialistico del contenuto
b) rielaborazione e interpretazione, anche a gruppi, del materiale
c) produzione orale e/o scritta a partire degli elementi e materiali presentati
Le lezioni si tengono in lingua italiana e in lingua francese.
Tutte le attività sono svolte in presenza. Sono possibili lezioni a distanza qualora fossero rese necessarie da imprevisti esterni o su richiesta degli studenti.

La verifica dell’apprendimento consiste in:

  • una prova scritta su supporto cartaceo che mira a verificare le competenze linguistiche acquisite durante il corso; consiste in domande di grammatica a risposte aperte per un totale di 30 punti (durata: 35 minuti).

  • una prova orale: lo studente si presenta all'esame con l'elenco dei testi studiati ed elencati nella bibliografia di riferimento. Il docente sceglie alcuni dei testi preparati dallo studente, il quale dovrà dimostrare di averli letti e capiti, rispondendo a domande, riassumendone il contenuto, elaborando in lingua straniera intorno ai temi trattati durante il corso.

The Language module (3 cfu) aims to develop language skills in the four activities required by the European Community: writing, reading, comprehension, oral production. The student is expected to acquire and consolidate the linguistic, communicative and intercultural skills useful for working in the finance sector.

KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING ABILITY
The course aims to consolidate and expand the linguistic structures already acquired, completing the training path with the study of intermediate-upper level linguistic skills. Particular attention will be paid to the in-depth study of topics relevant to the financial sector.

ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
The course aims to:
a) develop the ability to understand written and oral texts in standard French and in more complex registers, applicable to communication contexts;
b) promote the use of authentic materials and interactive tools to enhance the linguistic and cultural analysis of texts related to the banking/insurance/financial reality.

JUDGMENT ABILITY
The following are encouraged:
a) the development of critical thinking, through the interpretation and personal reworking of authentic texts in French;
b) the appropriate use of technical vocabulary in the sector.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS
The following will be strengthened:
a) the comprehension skills of written, oral and multimedia texts in French;
b) the ability to express oneself with clarity, coherence and ownership of language, promoting the integration of the four fundamental skills (written and oral comprehension, written and oral production) according to the parameters of the CEFR, even in work contexts.

LEARNING SKILLS
The student will be able to:
a) understand and analyze authentic texts, reformulating them effectively;
b) address specific topics of their study path in French, demonstrating increasing autonomy in language learning and in the use of useful resources.

  • The course offers a range of readings, exercises, grammar and communicative activities to achieve the linguistic proficiency necessary for future work in the field.

  • A thorough investigation of issues related to language, culture, thought, society and economics drawing on historical, literary, economic and social sources as a means to better know and understand the various aspects of intercultural communication.

B1 Level

The course consists of 10 two-hour lessons plus 1 one-hour lesson, delivered in an instructional format in the initial phase, which is aimed at engaging students interactively in the subsequent phase.

During the lessons, there is an alternation between:

  • the presentation of content (instructional mode)
     a) of a linguistic nature
     b) related to the culture and lexicon of the specialized language
  • and interaction with the students in various language production activities (interactive mode)
     a) following the listening to and/or viewing of multimedia material, with spontaneous exchange on both the linguistic and cultural/specialized content
     b) reworking and interpreting the material, including in groups
     c) oral and/or written production based on the presented elements and materials
    The lessons are held in both Italian and French. All activities take place in person. Remote lessons are possible if necessary due to external unforeseen events or upon the students’ request.

The evaluation consists of:

  • A written test that aims to assess the language skills acquired during the course and consists of grammar open-choice questions (duration: 35 minutes).

– Oral examination: The student is required to present at the exam with the list of texts studied, as specified in the reference bibliography. The instructor will select a number of these texts, and the student will be expected to demonstrate thorough reading and comprehension by responding to questions, providing summaries, and elaborating—using the target foreign language—on topics addressed during the course.
