Course Syllabus
Obiettivi
Al termine del seminario, le studentesse/gli studentisaranno in grado di applicare quanto appreso nelle lezioni teoriche alle diverse situazioni cliniche e nello specifico, avranno raggiunto i seguenti obiettivi:
Conoscenza e comprensione
- Aumentare e integrare le conoscenze acquisite durante il progetto formativo, approfondendo temi specifici relativi alle emergenze ostetriche.
- Comprendere le caratteristiche e le implicazioni dei 16 Eventi Sentinella e le relative Raccomandazioni del Ministero della Salute, per una corretta applicazione clinica
- Acquisire conoscenze pratiche attraverso esercitazioni simulate, utilizzando materiale didattico come manichini e modelli ostetrici, per riprodurre casi clinici realistici.
Capacità di applicare conoscenza e comprensione
- Applicare le conoscenze teoriche alle diverse situazioni cliniche di emergenza ostetrica, sviluppando competenze pratiche attraverso esercitazioni simulate
- Definire e descrivere i 16 Eventi Sentinella e le raccomandazioni correlate, per una gestione efficace e sicura delle emergenze
- Sviluppare capacità di intervento rapido e appropriato in situazioni di emergenza, utilizzando le tecniche apprese durante le esercitazioni pratiche
Autonomia di giudizio
- Sviluppare capacità di valutazione critica delle situazioni di emergenza, riconoscendo tempestivamente i segnali di allarme e adottando le strategie più appropriate
- Prendere decisioni autonome e responsabili, in linea con le raccomandazioni ufficiali, per garantire la sicurezza della madre e del neonato.
Abilità comunicative
- Comunicare efficacemente con il team multidisciplinare durante le simulazioni di emergenza, facilitando la collaborazione e la coordinazione
- Trasmettere chiaramente le informazioni e le istruzioni in situazioni di alta pressione, contribuendo a un intervento tempestivo e sicuro
Capacità di apprendimento
- Sviluppare capacità di aggiornamento continuo sulle emergenze ostetriche e sulle raccomandazioni ufficiali, mantenendo un atteggiamento critico e riflessivo.
- Integrare le competenze pratiche acquisite con le nuove evidenze scientifiche e linee guida, migliorando costantemente le proprie capacità professionali.
Contenuti sintetici
L'apprendimento di specifiche skill attraverso esercitazioni in aree protette, con l’ausilio di materiale didattico (manichini, modelli ostetrici) che permetteranno la simulazione di casi clinici.

1 CFU a sostegno del Modulo Nascita complicata MED-47
1 CFU a sostegno del Modulo Assistenza ostetrica alle emergenze ostetrico ginecologiche e neonatali MED/47 (che includono: I 16 Eventi Sentinella e le relative Raccomandazioni del Ministero della Salute per la prevenzione di: ritenzione di garze, strumenti o altro materiale all’interno del sito chirurgico, la reazione trasfusionale da incompatibilità AB0, la morte materna o malattia grave correlata al travaglio e/o parto)

Nessuno.
Modalità didattica
Le lezioni sono svolte in parte con modalità erogativa (lezione frontale) con l'inserimento diverse attività interattive (esercitazioni individuali e/o di gruppo, video didattici, discussioni guidate), che attraverso la presenza del tutor aiuteranno lo sviluppo di skill pratiche e relazionali.

Aims
At the end of the seminar, students will be able to apply what they have learnt in the theoretical lectures to different clinical situations and, specifically, will have achieved the following objectives
Knowledge and understanding
- To increase and integrate the knowledge acquired during the training project, deepening specific topics related to obstetric emergencies.
- Understand the characteristics and implications of the 16 Sentinel Events and the relevant Ministry of Health Recommendations, for correct clinical application
- Acquire practical knowledge through simulated exercises, using teaching material such as manikins and obstetrical models, to reproduce realistic clinical cases.
Applying knowledge and understanding
- Apply theoretical knowledge to different clinical obstetric emergency situations, developing practical skills through simulated exercises
- Define and describe the 16 Sentinel Events and related recommendations for effective and safe emergency management
- Develop skills in rapid and appropriate intervention in emergency situations, using techniques learned during practical exercises
Making judgements
- To develop the ability to critically evaluate emergency situations, recognising early warning signs and adopting the most appropriate strategies
- Make autonomous and responsible decisions, in line with official recommendations, to ensure the safety of the mother and the newborn.
Communication skills
- Communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team during emergency simulations, facilitating collaboration and coordination
- Clearly convey information and instructions in high pressure situations, contributing to timely and safe intervention
Learning skills
- To develop continuous updating skills on midwifery emergencies and official recommendations, maintaining a critical and reflective attitude.
- Integrate acquired practical skills with new scientific evidence and guidelines, constantly improving one's professional skills.
Contents
The student will be able to transfer what was learned in the field of care in teaching through the theoretical frequency of the different clinics. The learning of specific skills will be achieved through exercise activity in protected areas, with the aid of material (mannequins, midwifery models ) that will allow the simulation of events welfare. There will also be provided for exercises and work in small groups, led by the presence of the tutor who will help the development of acting skills and relational.

1 CFU In support of Complicated Birth, teaching module of Complicated Birth MED-47
1 CFU In support of EMERGENCY IN OBSTETRICS, GYNAECOLOGY AND NEONATOLOGY, teaching module of MIDWIFERY CARE IN EMERGENCY MED/47 (The 16 Events Sentinel and related Recommendations of the Ministry of Health To Prevent: the retention of gauze, instruments or other material within the surgical site, transfusional reaction by AB0 incompatibility, maternal death or serious illness correlated to labor and / or childbirth).

None.
Teaching form
The lectures are conducted partly in a delivery mode (frontal lecture) with the inclusion of several interactive activities (individual and/or group exercises, instructional videos, guided discussions), which through the presence of the tutor will help the development of practical and relational skills.
