DdD 1 – Conoscenza e capacità di comprensione
Acquisire conoscenze sugli ausili nella loro varietà e complessità all’interno del progetto riabilitativo e i fondamenti per poterli valutare, consigliare e scegliere in maniera adeguata nel contesto sanitario italiano.
DdD 2 – Conoscenza e capacità di comprensione applicate.
Riconoscere i diversi ausili e valutarne l’adeguatezza rispetto al programma riabilitativo e le modalità di erogazione.
DdD 3 – Autonomia di giudizio
Sviluppare il ragionamento clinico al fine di valutare l’adozione degli ausili pertinenti.
DdD 4 – Abilità comunicative
Comunicare efficacemente con il team multiprofessionale, il paziente e il caregiver.
DdD 5 – Capacità di apprendere
Incentivare lo studio autonomo di articoli, materiali clinici aggiornati e la prova e sperimentazione degli ausili.

Concetti generali sugli ausili (3ore)

  • La terapia occupazionale e il team riabilitativo: il ruolo dell’integrazione dei diversi professionisti;
  • Il concetto di ausilio, le modalità valutative ed erogative in Italia secondo la norma vigente;
  • Gli ausili di vita quotidiana.
    La carrozzina (3 ore)
  • Cenni di postura seduta;
  • La classificazione delle carrozzine manuale, elettroniche e differenti dispositivi di mobilità;
  • I sistemi antidecubito per la posizione seduta.
    Accessibilità (3ore)
  • La valutazione dell’ambiente domiciliare e gli adattamenti per il superamento delle barriere architettoniche;
  • La sport-terapia;
  • Le tecnologie assistive per la comunicazione e l’accesso al pc.
  • cenni sulla patente speciale e adattamwenti per l'auto.
    Visione e prova di ausili (3 ore)
  • Visione e prova di carrozzine manuali, elettroniche, comandi alternativi di guida della carrozzina elettronica, dispositivi di mobilità alternativi.

Conoscenza della clinica delle patologie neurologiche

Didattica erogativa in presenza 9 ore
Didattica interattiva (discussione casi clinici e sperimentazione pratica su ausili) 3 ore

DdD 1 – Knowledge and understanding
Acquire knowledge of aids in their variety and complexity within the rehabilitation project and the foundations for evaluating, advising and choosing them appropriately in the Italian healthcare context.
DdD 2 – Applied knowledge and understanding.
Recognize the different aids and evaluate their appropriateness with respect to the rehabilitation program and the methods of delivery.
DdD 3 – Autonomy of judgment
Develop clinical reasoning in order to evaluate the adoption of relevant aids.
DdD 4 – Communication skills
Communicate effectively with the multi-professional team, the patient and the caregiver.
DdD 5 – Ability to learn
Encourage the independent study of articles, updated clinical materials and the testing and experimentation of aids.

  • Occupational therapy and the role of the rehabilitation team
  • Basic concepts on the definition of aids, prostheses and orthoses
  • Evaluation, choice and provision of different devices
  • Concepts of accessibility and participation

General concepts on aids (3 hours)

  • Occupational therapy and the rehabilitation team: the role of integrating different professionals;
  • The concept of aid, the evaluation and delivery methods in Italy according to the current legislation;
  • Daily life aids.
    The wheelchair (3 hours)
  • Notes on sitting posture;
  • The classification of manual, electronic wheelchairs and different mobility devices;
  • Anti-decubitus systems for the sitting position.
    Accessibility (3 hours)
  • Evaluation of the home environment and adaptations to overcome architectural barriers;
  • Sports therapy;
  • Assistive technologies for communication and access to the PC.
  • Notes on the special license and car adaptations.
    Viewing and testing of aids (3 hours)
  • Viewing and testing of manual, electronic wheelchairs, alternative controls for driving the electronic wheelchair, alternative mobility devices.

Knowledge of the clinical aspects of neurological pathologies

In-person teaching 9 hours
Interactive teaching (discussion of clinical cases and practical experimentation on aids) 3 hours
