-. fornire una conoscenza di buon livello della fisiopatologia dell'apparato respiratorio che consenta di comprendere i processi che sono alla base della patologia respiratoria.

  • illustrare il significato e l'utilita' dei fondamentali test funzionali respiratori (spirometria semplice e globale, emogasanalisi, test da sforzo) per guidare la riabilitazione

  • descrizione del paziente con insufficienza respiratoria acuta e cronica e presidi per il trattamento (dall'ossigenoterapia alla ventilazione invasiva e non-invasiva)

  • descrizione del paziente con patologia ostruttiva cronica (asma e bpco) e indicazioni al trattamento di fisioterapia respiratoria e riabilitativo.

  • descrizioni delle infezioni polmonari acute (polmoniti) e croniche (bronchiectasie associate e non a fibrosi cistica) e ruolo del fisioterapista respiratorio (per es. disostruzione bronchiale)

  • provide a good level of knowledge of the pathophysiology of the respiratory system that allows understanding the processes that underlie respiratory pathology.

  • illustrate the meaning and usefulness of the fundamental functional respiratory tests (simple and global spirometry, blood gas analysis, exercise tests) to guide rehabilitation

  • description of acute and chronic respiratory failure and the devices for oxygen and ventilatory support (both invasive and non-invasive)

  • description of patients with chronic obstructive airway diseases (asthma and COPD) and indications for respiratory physiotherapy and rehabilitation.

  • descriptions of acute (pneumonia) and chronic (non-cystic fibrosis bronchiectasis and cystic fibrosis) lung infections and the role of the respiratory physiotherapist (e.g. airway clearance technique)
