Obiettivi
Lo studente deve conoscere i principali quadri di emergenze/urgenze cardiocircolatorie, respiratorie, neurologiche; illustrare i principi di base e le applicazioni delle tecniche di rianimazione e del meccanismo d’azione dei farmaci anestetici locali e sistemici.
Contenuti sintetici
Fornire agli studenti i principi di base dell’anestesiologia e delle tecniche di rianimazione.
Programma esteso
Cause e inquadramento degli stati di shock, dell’insufficienza respiratoria acuta, delle alterazione acute degli stati di coscienza. Tecniche di rianimazione e principi di base di primo soccorso (allertare il sistema di soccorso; attuare gli interventi di primo soccorso; acquisire capacità di intervento pratico). Meccanismi di azioni di anestetici locali, cenni di anestesia generale/sedoanalgesia.

The students should learn the general principles and applications of the intensive care, resuscitation, first aid and the mechanism of action of the anaesthetic drugs.
Contents
The aim of the course is to provide students with the basic principles of Anesthesiology and of resuscitation techniques.
Detailed program
Causes and overview of shock states, acute respiratory failure, acute alteration of states of consciousness. Resuscitation Techniques and Basic First Aid Principles (alert the rescue system, implement first aid interventions, and acquire practical intervention skills). Mechanisms of local anesthetic actions, general anesthesia/sedo-analgesia.

11 multiple choice questions and a brief analysis will be required (like open question).
The oral test will focus on in-depth study of the written paper.
