Obiettivi

Aims

Applying Knowledge and Understanding
By the end of the course, students will be able to use MRI equipment and set up imaging protocols for the examination of different anatomical regions according to diagnostic and research objectives. They will be able to process and reconstruct images using reformatting methods, volume rendering techniques, and map generation, and will have the fundamental knowledge required to recognize the imaging features of the main pathological conditions.

Making Judgements
Students will be able to independently assess the technical correctness of image acquisition and the adequacy of the images obtained, including those resulting from post-processing, for diagnostic and research purposes.

Communication Skills
By the end of the course, students will have acquired the ability to present the topics covered during the course clearly, using appropriate terminology and scientific rigor.

Learning Skills
By the end of the course, students will have acquired the tools necessary to continue learning and updating their knowledge independently, supported by a consistent reference to the etiopathogenetic processes discussed throughout the course.

Contents

The course aims to provide students with basic knowledge of physical principles, clinical indications, techniques, diagnostic protocols and applied aspects of magnetic resonance imaging
