  • Orientation activities for future psychologists

    To guide the students through the Practical Internship (Tirocinio Pratico Valutativo or TPV) and the Practical Examination (Prova Pratica Valutativa or PPV), all Psychology Master’s programs propose an “Orientation activities for future psychologists”, focused on TPV and PPV activities. For AEPS, PC, PSED and PSPE Master’s programs, attendance to this activities is necessary to access the Final Examination.

     

    The activities has the following goals:

                 Develop up-to-date knowledge and representations of psychological professions, both at the training and the occupational level

                 Support the definition of a professional project and develop the reflective and proactive skills for job placement

                 Support the choice and reworking of the Practical Internship (Tirocinio Pratico Valutativo or TPV) experience

                 Prepare to the Practical Examination (Prova Pratica Valutativa or PPV) through a specific methodological tool

     

    The activities include a variety of training opportunities and moments of discussion in different settings and with the support of expert tutors:

                 Seminars on specific topics related to psychological professions and post-graduation training

                 Online meetings with professionals

                Preparatory workshops for the Practical Internship (Tirocinio Pratico Valutativo, TPV) and the Practical Examination (Prova Pratica Valutativa, PPV)

                Training to use the “Life Design Portfolio” tool to collect and present one’s educational path in preparation to the Practical Examination (Prova Pratica Valutativa, PPV)

                 Monitoring and ongoing support during the Practical Internship (Tirocinio Pratico Valutativo, TPV)

                 “Build your career” e-learning JobPlacement activities

     

    The actitivies articulate over the course of the 2 years of the Master’s program.

    The different training moments will be scheduled in several editions and at different times of the year, in order to facilitate the participation of everyone, even working students. Some activities will be the same across different Master’s programs, while others will be specific. Depending on the type of activity, meetings will be online or in person.
