  • STUDY PLAN

The Study Plan is the list of all activities that a student is going to complete, to graduate (including required courses, suggested courses and electives). Overall, these activities correspond to 120 CFU/ECTS (Crediti Formativi Universitari / European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System).

Some activities are required and are included in the study plan by default (e.g., required courses). The student can choose among other activities (e.g., suggested courses and electives). The main purpose of filling-in the Study Plan is giving each student the possibility to choose among these activities.

    GENERAL INFORMATION

All students are reminded that, pending the approval of the new Guidelines:

    1) Students can take exams only if they are included in their Study Plan.

    2) Students in good standing submit their Study Plan electronically. Students who are in a supplementary year and who are regularly enrolled in the academic year can submit a request for a change to the latest Study Plan (using the request form provided).

    3) Students who do not renew their enrolment in the new academic year because they are obtaining their degree in the last scheduled period (February - March) can modify the study plan by means of a request, varying up to a maximum of 24 credits and paying a supplementary contribution for the late submission of the plan.

    4) Until the adoption of the new Study Plan, the student remains bound to the observance of the previous plan and cannot register for the exams of which he/she requests to be included in the new plan.

    5) Exams can be brought forward to the second semester of the year of enrolment or to the year following the year of enrolment only if the courses have already been activated and disbursed, taking the exam on the basis of the syllabus of the course already disbursed.

Solely regarding the taking of exams of the year successive to the year of enrolment, the student must have acquired at least 75% of the total credits referred to the years of enrolment. Any attendance and prerequisite obligations must be respected (art. 26 of the Student Regulations).

    6) In order to apply for a degree, the student must be in possession of an approved Study Plan and not be in default of more than three activities (art. 30 of the Student Regulations).

Please note: In the event that courses for which there are registrations for previous sessions are removed from the Study Plan, they will not be removed from the student’s transcript, but will remain visible as out-of-plan exams. The presence of these exams is irrelevant for the purposes of obtaining the degree and they do not have to be taken.
