Today, I have been told by one of your classmates that it could be useful to provide basic elements of probability and statistics to improve the effectiveness of lectures.

Indeed, in the first version of the course I devoted about 5/6 hours to give basic concepts of probability and statistics.

However I was told from students attending the first version of the course that such basic components were redunadant for them and thus I decided not to present them in the second edition of the course.

To cut a long story short, I made the Solomonic decision to enclose the slides of basic concepts to this message so you can make the use you like it most.
