Lessons for the Laboratorio di Lingua Straniera will begin on Monday March 4st. Here is some information to help you decide which module is right for you.  

The Intermediate Module is designed for students who have a B1-level of English or slightly higher. The course is a General Business English course focusing on developing the main language and communication skills required for the workplace, in a general business environment.  
- Students with surnames A-L should attend Intermediate Module B with Dott. Michael Thompson. 
- Students with surnames M-Z should attend Intermediate Module C with Dott.ssa Nuala Tansey.

The Upper-Intermediate Module is designed for students who have a B2-level of English, or higher. The course will help you improve your ability to communicate in English, particularly in the context of Human Resources, as well as help you practice your Soft Skills in English.

If you are not sure which level is right for you, you can test your level with Rosetta Stone.

The final exam for the Laboratorio Linguistico is a Pass/Fail oral exam. Your choice of module does NOT affect the level of your exam -- all students are judged according to the same standards. (In other words, the Upper-Intermediate exam is not more difficult). 

So choose the module that fits best with your current level of English and your goals for improving your English-language skills.

Le lezioni del Laboratorio di Lingua Straniera partiranno dal lunedì 4° marzo. Per aiutarvi a scegliere il modulo giusto, vogliamo offrire qualche informazione.  

Il Laboratorio Linguistico offre 2 possibilità:  

il modulo Intermediate è un corso 'intermedio' rivolto a studenti con competenze linguistiche iniziali livello B1 secondo il Quadro Comune Europeo di Riferimento per la conoscenza delle lingue. E' un corso sulle basi della lingua inglese utilizzate nel mondo del business generale che aiuta lo studente ad apprendere le competenze necessarie per poter comunicare in maniera efficiente in quel campo. 

- Studenti con cognomi A-L dovrebbero frequentare il Modulo Intermediate "B" col Dott. Michael Thompson.
- Studenti con cognomi M-Z dovrebbero frequentare il Modulo Intermediate "C" con la Dott.ssa Nuala Tansey.

il modulo Upper Intermediate è un corso 'upper-intermediate', rivolto a studenti con competenze linguistiche iniziali livello B2 secondo il Quadro Comune Europeo di Riferimento per la conoscenza delle lingue. Obiettivo del corso è lo sviluppo delle 4 competenze linguistiche (reading, listening, writing, speaking) nell'ambito professionale -- Human Resources.

L'esame finale del Laboratorio Linguistico è una prova orale approvato/non approvato. La scelta del modulo da frequentare NON influisce sul livello dell'esame. Tutti gli studenti vengono valutati secondo gli stessi criteri. (Cioè, l'esame 'Upper-Intermediate' non è un esame più difficile.)

Scegliete, quindi, il modulo che riflette meglio il vostro attuale livello di inglese e i vostri obiettivi per migliorare.
