Dear Students,

We are glad to share with you that the 16th edition of the Green Economy Festival will take place in Parma from 14th to 19th April, 2026.
The Festival, a nationally recognized opportunity to explore and discuss ecological transition and industrial sustainability, will host internationally renowned figures this year, including:

  • Pavan Sukhdev, President of WWF
  • Guenter Blöschl, hydrologist and winner of the Stockholm Water Prize 2025;
  • Timothy Palmer, physicist and climatologist at the University of Oxford;
  • Paolo Giordano, writer and physicist.

The programme aims to provide young people with a concrete perspective on how scientific innovation, new regulatory frameworks and sustainable industrial practices are transforming production models.
To encourage the participation of the most deserving students, the organisation is offering 300 travel grants, which include:

  • Study Tour “The Factories of Sustainability”: guided tours of leading companies in the area;
  • Priority access: reserved seats at conferences and the opportunity for direct discussion with speakers;
  • Full hospitality: coverage of food, accommodation and transfer expenses where necessary;
  • Official certificate of participation.

Selected students are required to pay one of the fees indicated in the call for applications, which are necessary to cover part of the organisational costs.
Please see the slides here for further details: Infokit Green Economy Festival Academy.

Selection takes place on a weekly basis, so we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.

Kind regards,
