Dear AEPS students,
I am forwarding you an invitation for a seminar about network psychometrics that I will teach at the NEOMA business school, at Rouen in France, on Jan 29 between 10 and 17. There is no participation fee, but interested students need to register (see below). Some parts might be a bit advanced for MSc students, but others might be potentially interesting if you want to see a different perspective on psychometrics,
Best
Giulio Costantini

The AI, Data Science & Business Area of Excellence is pleased to welcome Associate Professor Giulio Costantini from the Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca (Italy) on January 29 and 30 on our Rouen campus.

On January 29, Giulio Costantini will introduce participants to the use of Network Psychometrics as an innovative approach to assessing relationships among psychometric variables. By conceptualizing psychological phenomena as networks, researchers can explore how these phenomena emerge from the complex interplay of their underlying components. For researchers familiar with SEM, this methodology can serve as a valuable alternative. The aim of this workshop is to provide a comprehensive introduction to both the theory and practical application of this advanced methodology, including, for example, network analysis on cross-sectional and longitudinal data, as well as multi-group network analysis.

On January 30, individual meetings will be organized for faculty members who wish to discuss their research projects with Giulio.

This event is open to all NEOMA faculty, PhD students, and external colleagues. Please feel free to forward this invitation to interested researchers and PhD students at other institutions. PhD students are particularly well suited to attend, as the workshop offers an excellent opportunity to deepen their methodological expertise.

The AE AIDSB will cover travel costs for its members. Please book your travel on the NEOMA platform using the AE AIDSB analytical code. Faculty and PhD students affiliated with other AEs may use their IRB to cover their travel to Rouen.

Lunch will be offered to all registered participants.
