Dear AEPS students,

Please, find below a news (that I received via the European Association of Personality Psychology's mailing list) about the Junior Researcher Progamme (JRP), an initiative for BSc and MSc students who are interested in pursuing a research project. Please, notice that the program is, overall, quite expensive: I am forwarding it in case some of you may be interested in applying anyways. The program is not connected with me or AEPS,

Kind regards

Giulio Costantini

Applications for the Junior Researcher Programme (JRP) 2026 are now open!

Are you a Bachelor’s or Master’s student in psychology or the behavioural sciences looking to gain hands-on research experience, collaborate internationally, and explore research topics in the digital age?

The Junior Researcher Programme offers you the opportunity to:

  • work on a 13-month research project in a small, international team
  • receive mentorship from early-career researchers
  • connect with highly motivated students from around the world
  • develop real research skills—from preregistration and study design to data analysis and publication

Your journey begins at jSchool 2026, taking place from June 28 to July 4 in Siena, Italy, where you will meet your team, refine your research idea, and kick off your project.

This year’s theme is: Psychological Science in a Digital Age: From Individual Well-being to Societal Processes.

Following jSchool, you will continue collaborating remotely over 13 months, culminating in presenting your work at the JRP Conference at the University of Cambridge in summer 2027.

jSchool cost: £495 (includes accommodation, most meals, and all events; travel not included)

Application deadline: April 16, 2026 (23:59 CEST)

Learn more on our website and apply via this form.

Please ensure you meet the eligibility criteria before applying.
