scrivo ai docenti di Applied Experimental Psychological Sciences (AEPS), ai docenti degli insegnamenti potenzialmente coinvolti, ai rappresentanti degli studenti, all’Ufficio Offerta Formativa, alla Segreteria didattica, alla Segreteria studenti e, tramite e-learning, agli studenti del primo anno di AEPS.

Il messaggio riguarda un problema tecnico-amministrativo che può impedire ad alcuni studenti del primo anno di iscriversi agli appelli di esame per attività inserite nei 8 CFU a scelta libera.

Al primo anno, gli studenti di AEPS hanno infatti 8 CFU a scelta totalmente libera. Alcuni studenti hanno usato questi CFU per inserire nel piano di studio insegnamenti previsti al secondo anno di AEPS o in altre LM-51. Al momento sappiamo che il problema riguarda alcuni insegnamenti, tra cui Consumer Psychology, Social and Affective Neuroscience, Cyberpsychology ed Elements of Human-Technology Interaction, ma potrebbero esserci anche altri casi.

Il problema nasce dal recente cambio di ordinamento delle lauree magistrali LM-51. In molti casi, denominazione e contenuti degli insegnamenti sono rimasti sostanzialmente invariati, ma i codici degli esami sono cambiati tra l’a.a. 2025/26 e l’a.a. 2026/27. Ad esempio, Consumer Psychology passa da F5105P015 a F5109P020. L’elenco dei codici corrispondenti è riportato in allegato.

Nei piani di studio pre-approvati, all’interno degli 8 CFU a scelta libera, sono stati proposti i codici nuovi degli insegnamenti, coerentemente con il nuovo regolamento e anche per evitare che lo stesso insegnamento potesse essere inserito due volte con codici diversi. Tuttavia, gli appelli associati ai nuovi codici saranno ufficialmente disponibili solo a partire dall’a.a. 2026/27. Di conseguenza, alcuni studenti che hanno scelto questi insegnamenti come attività a scelta libera del primo anno non riescono ora a iscriversi agli appelli della sessione corrente.

È importante chiarire che non si tratta di studenti che stanno chiedendo di anticipare impropriamente esami del secondo anno. Si tratta di studenti che hanno inserito questi insegnamenti nel piano di studio come attività a scelta libera del primo anno, nell’ambito degli 8 CFU liberi previsti dal regolamento.

La soluzione concordata con la Segreteria studenti è la seguente:

1. Tutti gli studenti coinvolti saranno contattati dalla Segreteria studenti e invitati a presentare un esposto. Nell’esposto dovranno chiedere la sostituzione del codice dell’insegnamento inserito nel piano con il corrispondente codice dell’a.a. 2025/26. Le modalità e le tempistiche saranno indicate direttamente dalla Segreteria studenti.

2. Gli studenti che hanno urgenza di iscriversi a un appello imminente devono contattare subito la Segreteria studenti all’indirizzo segr.studenti.psicologia@unimib.it, indicando l’esame a cui devono iscriversi.

3. La Segreteria studenti verificherà che la richiesta sia ammissibile. In particolare, l’insegnamento deve essere stato inserito nel piano di studio come attività a scelta libera del primo anno, e non come insegnamento del secondo anno.

4. Se la richiesta è ammissibile, la Segreteria studenti permetterà l’iscrizione all’esame.

5. Anche gli studenti che ricevono supporto urgente per l’iscrizione a un appello devono comunque presentare l’esposto.

Chiedo quindi agli studenti coinvolti di non contattare direttamente i docenti per risolvere il problema di iscrizione all’appello, ma di rivolgersi alla Segreteria studenti seguendo le indicazioni sopra riportate.

Dear all,

I am writing to AEPS faculty members, the instructors of the courses potentially involved, the student representatives, the Educational Offer Office, the Teaching Office, the Student Office, and, through e-learning, the first-year AEPS students.

This message concerns a technical-administrative issue that may prevent some first-year students from registering for exam sessions related to courses included among their 8 free-choice credits.

In the first year, AEPS students have 8 credits that they can use as fully free-choice activities. Some students have used these credits to include in their study plan courses offered in the second year of AEPS or in other LM-51 programs. At the moment, we know that the issue concerns some courses, including Consumer Psychology, Social and Affective Neuroscience, Cyberpsychology, and Elements of Human-Technology Interaction, but there may be other cases as well.

The issue is related to the recent reform of the LM-51 degree programs. In many cases, the course titles and contents have remained substantially the same, but the course codes have changed between the 2025/26 and 2026/27 academic years. For example, Consumer Psychology changed from F5105P015 to F5109P020. The list of corresponding course codes is provided in the attachment.

In the pre-approved study plans, the new course codes were made available within the 8 free-choice credits, consistently with the new regulations and also to avoid the possibility that the same course could be included twice with two different codes. However, exam sessions associated with the new course codes will officially be available only starting from the 2026/27 academic year. As a result, some students who selected these courses as first-year free-choice activities are now unable to register for the current exam sessions.

It is important to clarify that these students are not improperly trying to take second-year exams in advance. Rather, they included these courses in their study plan as first-year free-choice activities, within the 8 free-choice credits allowed by the regulations.

The solution agreed upon with the Student Office is the following:

1. All affected students will be contacted by the Student Office and invited to submit a formal request. In this request, they will need to ask for the course code currently included in their study plan to be replaced with the corresponding 2025/26 course code. The Student Office will provide the relevant instructions and timeline.
2. Students who urgently need to register for an upcoming exam session should contact the Student Office immediately at segr.studenti.psicologia@unimib.it, clearly indicating the exam they need to register for.
3. The Student Office will check whether the request is admissible. In particular, the course must have been included in the study plan as a first-year free-choice activity, and not as a second-year course.
4. If the request is admissible, the Student Office will enable registration for the exam.
5. Students who receive urgent support for exam registration must still submit the formal request.

Students affected by this issue should therefore not contact the instructors directly to solve the exam-registration problem, but should instead follow the procedure described above and contact the Student Office when needed.
