Alla fine del corso/blocco di attività , lo studente deve essere in grado di:

Descrivere i fondamenti, i meccanismi fisiopatologici, i quadri clinici, il monitoraggio e il trattamento delle principali patologie urgenti mediche e chirurgiche.

Applicare i protocolli di rianimazione cardio-polmonare BLSD e ACLS

Valutazione condizioni generali del paziente.

Linee guida per il ripristino e il mantenimento delle funzioni vitali (BLSD e ACLS).

Sindrome coronarica acuta.

L'emergenza neurologica. Coma e sincope.

Insufficienza respiratoria acute.

Lo shock (inquadramento, diagnosi, trattamento).

-       effettuare rianimazione cardiopolmonare (BLSD) (su manichino)

-       preparare in condizioni di emergenza un accesso venoso

-        effettuare le procedure standard per la rilevazione dei parametri vitali in condizioni di emergenza

-       realizzare una defibrillazione precoce ed una stimolazione elettrica cardiaca transcutanea

-       valutazione ed assistenza del paziente in coma

-       valutazione di un malato candidato a chirurgia di urgenza-emergenza

-       gestione delle vie aeree

-       interpretazione dell’equilibrio acido base

-       assistenza al paziente in shock

valutazione ed assistenza del paziente politraumatizzato

Superamento del blocco pre-clinico (fondamenti di anatomia, biochimica e fisiologia)

 


Praticantato (“clerkship”) clinico, con frequentazione delle specialità chirurgiche e pronto soccorso in piccoli gruppi (circa massimo 10 studenti):

 

-       Metodologia prevista dai corsi BLSD e ACLS

-       Esercitazioni pratiche con manichini o tra studenti/insegnanti

-       Discussione di casi clinici

At the end of the course/activity block, the student will be able to:

-       Learning the basics and mechanisms of physiopathology, diagnosis, monitoring and treatment of clinical emergencies, medical and surgical.

-       Apply BLSD and ACLS cardio-pulmonary resuscitation protocols


Evaluation of the patient general conditions.

Guidelines for the recovery and maintenance of the vital functions (BLSD and ACLS).

Acute cardiac failure.

Neurological emergencies. Coma and syncope.

Acute Respiratory Failures.

Shock (diagnosis and treatment).


-       Venous access in emergency.

-       Vital signs recording in emergency.

-       Cardiac defibrillation and pacing.

-       CPR simulation.

-       Evaluation and treatment of comatose patient.

-       Evaluation of patients undergoing emergency surgery.

-       Airways management.

-       Acid base interpretation.

-       Treatment of shock.

Evaluation and treatment of poly trauma.

Pre-clinical block (anatomy, biochemistry, physiology…) successfully passed

Clerkship program, with rotation in small groups (about max 10 students) in surgical specialties and in the emergency department:

 

-       Course methodology for BLSD e ACLS

-       Practice sessions with puppets or among students/teachers
