Fornire le conoscenze fondamentali sull’inquadramento diagnostico e il trattamento chirurgico delle patologie traumatologiche, malformative, dismorfiche, oncologiche e ricostruttive del distretto oro-maxillo-facciale nell’età pediatrica e adulta. Viene inoltre sviluppato l’aspetto della collaborazione tra odontoiatra e chirurgo maxillo-facciale per lo svolgimento del piano diagnostico terapeutico delle sopraccitate branche d'interesse.

Definizione degli ambiti di interesse specifici della chirurgia maxillofacciale e di collaborazione integrata tra odontoiatra e chirurgo per l’ottimizzazione dei risultati estetico-funzionali del cavo orale e del distretto facciale. Traumatologia. Tumori benigni e maligni del cavo orale e delle ghiandole salivari. Craniostenosi e Craniofaciostenosi. Chirurgia pre-protesica. Principali patologie oculistiche Patologie otorinolaringoiatriche di interesse odontoiatrico

Definizione degli ambiti d'interesse specifici della chirurgia maxillofacciale e di collaborazione integrata tra odontoiatra e chirurgo per l’ottimizzazione dei risultati estetico-funzionali del cavo orale e del distretto facciale. Traumatologia maxillo-facciale. Tumori benigni e maligni del cavo orale e delle ghiandole salivari. Trattamento multidisciplinare del paziente affetto da carcinoma del cavo orale, chirurgico e medico associato. Ricostruzione del distretto oro-maxillofacciale con tecniche tradizionali e microchirurgiche. La biopalatoschisi. Microsomie emifacciali. Craniostenosi e Craniofaciostenosi.
Programmazione e trattamento chirurgico dei pazienti affetti da patologia dismorfica dei mascellari. Chirurgiapre-protesica e ricostruzione maxillomandibolare preimplantologica.
