Programma esteso
Ethical and Juridical Issues in Information Society, Prof.ssa Silvia Salardi

Detailed program
Ethical and Juridical Issues in Information Society, Prof.ssa Silvia Salardi
Technological advances started in the second half of the XX century have contributed to substantially improving individual and collective existence thanks to new modalities of work, relationship, and management of collective life. However, technical progress has also arisen unprecedented ethical and legal problems. It is crucial for students that deal with these topics to understand the difference between technical questions and ethical-legal ones. In so doing, students will be able to use the adequate tools to solve the different problems. To let students achieve this understanding, the course addresses a set of issues useful to explain and concretely deal with ethical-legal aspects with the participation of experts from different fields whose contribution is fundamental to the understanding of the interrelationship between technology, ethics, and law.
