Obiettivi
Il corso si pone l'obiettivo di fornire le basi per comprendere gli effetti ambientali e sanitari della presenza nell'ambiente antropizzato di sorgenti di campi elettromagnetiche a radiofrequenza.
Contenuti sintetici
Il corso è suddiviso in tre sezioni essenziali:
1: Richiami di elettromagnetismo, onde elettromagnetiche, propagazione
2. le sorgenti di campo elettromagnetico
3. l'interazione con la materia e con il corpo umano in particolare, danni, sistema normativo

1. Introduzione al tema - overview generale
2. Effetti macroscopici delle correnti sul corpo umano
3. Richiami di elettrodinamica ed elettromagnetismo, induzione elettrica, induzione magnetica
4. Equazioni di Maxwell
5. Stazioni radioemittenti ed antenne
6. Campo vicino e campo lontano
7. Esempi di calcolo dell'esposizione di un bersaglio
8. Il trasporto dell'informazione: modulazioni analogiche e codifiche digitali
9. Telecomunicazioni mobili - evoluzione delle tecniche: le 5 generazioni della telefonia mobile
10. Interazione dei campi statici e variabili nel tempo con la materia
12. Teorema di Pointing
13. Riflessione ed onde stazionarie
14. Attenuazione
15. Interazione del corpo umano con i campi magnetici a radiofrequenza
16. Tasso di assorbimento specifico o SAR (Specific Absorption rate)
17. Termoregolazione del corpo umano
18. Le basi della normativa
19. Il sistema della limitazione dell'esposizione ai campi EM a RF
20. Attribuzione di cancerogenicità ai campo EM a RF
21. Seminari tematici su: a) epidemiologia dei campi EM a RF b) 5G (se possibile)
Prerequisiti
Conoscenze di elettromagnetismo; conoscenze generali acquisite nel corso del primo triennio di facoltà tecnico scientifiche
Modalità didattica
condizionata dalla attuale situazione pandemica.
Il corso potrà tenersi attraverso:
- lezioni frontali
- lezioni in VDC
- visionando lezioni caricate sul portale
o con un mix, in funzione delle condizioni che si verificheranno e delle istruzioni della facoltà

Aims
The course aims to provide the basis for understanding the environmental and health effects of the presence in the anthropic environment of radio frequency electromagnetic field sources
Contents
The course is divided into three essential sections:
1. Elements of electromagnetism, electromagnetic waves, propagation
2. the sources of electromagnetic fields
3. interaction with matter and with the human body in particular, damage, regulatory system
Detailed program
1. Introduction to the topic - general overview
2. Macroscopic effects of currents on the human body
3. Review of electrodynamics and electromagnetism, electric induction, magnetic induction
4. Maxwell's equations
5. Broadcasting stations and antennas
6. Near field and far field
7. Examples of evaluation of the exposure of a target
8. The transport of information: analog modulations and digital encodings
9. Mobile telecommunications - evolution of the techniques: the five generations
10. Interaction of static and time-varying fields with the matter
12. Pointing Theorem
13. Reflection and standing waves
14. Attenuation
15. Human body interaction with radiofrequency magnetic fields
16. Specific Absorption Rate or SAR
17. Thermoregulation of the human body
18. The basis of the legislation
19. The system of the limitiation of the exposure to EM RF fields
20. Attribution of carcinogenicity to EM to RF fields
21. Thematic seminars on: a) epidemiology of EM and RF fields b) 5G (if possible)
Prerequisites
Knowledge of electromagnetism; general knowledge acquired during the first three-year of a technical-scientific faculty
Teaching form
conditioned by the current pandemic situation.
The course could be held through:
- frontal lessons
- VDC lessons
- viewing lessons uploaded on the course portal
- or with a mix, depending on the conditions that will occur and on l m<the instructions of the faculty
