Il Corso deve fornire allo studente le informazioni necessarie per saper riconoscere le situazione d'urgenza/emergenza clinica e le competenze per salvaguardare la vita del paziente in attesa del medico. Il Corso dovrà inoltre integrare gli insegnamenti nel campo di malattie dell’Apparato Gastrointestinale, Respiratorio, della chirurgia, dell’otorinolaringoiatria.

Riconoscimento delle più frequenti malattie odontostomatologiche, otorinolaringoiatriche, del distretto maxillo-facciale e dell'apparato visivo. Epidemiologia, eziologia e sintomatologia.

Esame obiettivo, diagnosi differenziale,  terapia e prognosi delle principali malattie di pertinenza.

ANATOMIA DEI VISCERI: Conoscere le nozioni fondamentali relative  all’anatomia dei visceri. Comprendere ove tali nozioni sono utili per le procedure chirurgiche e la Riabilitazione fisioterapica. FISIOLOGIA CARDIORESPIRATORIA: Riconoscere i principali quadri di malattie apparato respiratorio e saperli descrivere. EMERGENZE INTERNISTICHE: Riconoscere i principali quadri di urgenze internisti che nel bambino EMERGENZE CHIRURGICHE: Riconoscere i principali quadri di urgenza chirurgica e saperli descrivere. Saper indirizzare appropriatamente di conseguenza i pazienti alle cure. Comprenderne ove utili: Prevenzione,Trattamento e Riabilitazione Fisioterapica. PATOLOGIA GENERALE: Nozioni di patologia generale.Eziologia. Patogenesi. Concetto di omeostasi e di malattia. Insorgenza e decorso delle malattie acute e croniche. Eziologia generale. Fattori predisponenti fisiologici e patologici. Cause di malattia: fisiche, chimiche,biologiche. Virulenza. Patogenicità. Trasmissione delle infezioni. Azione  atogena . Proprietà generali  del sistema immunitario. OTORINOLARINGOIATRIA: Anatomia di orecchio, faringe e laringe. Valutazione uditiva. Fattori di rischio.

Essere iscritto al V anno del CdS in Medicina e Chirurgia

Gli insegnamenti verranno erogati in modalità “in presenza”, salvo successive diverse disposizioni ministeriali legate all’emergenza pandemica

The course aims to provide students with the necessary information to identify the emergency situations, together with the clinical skills to protect the lives of patients waiting for the doctor. The course will alsoprovide the knowledge of gastrointestinal and respiratory diseases, of surgery, otolaryngology, audiology.

Recognition of the most frequent odontostomatological, maxillofacial and visual system diseases. Epidemiology, etiology and symptomatology. Physical examination, differential diagnosis, therapy and prognosis of the main diseases of relevance.


VISCERAL ANATOMY: Learning of the basics of visceral anatomy. Understanding where these concepts are useful for surgical procedures and physiotherapic rehabilitation. CARDIO RESPIRATORY PHISIOLOGY: Identification of the main frames ofrespiratory diseases and their description. INTERNISTIC EMERGENCIES:Recognize the pediatric main internistic emergencies frames. SURGICAL EMERGENCIES: Recognizethe main frames of surgical emergency and know how to describe them.Being able to appropriately address patients to care. GENERAL PATHOLOGY: Concepts of general pathology. Etiology. Pathogenesis. Concept of homeostasis and disease. Onset and course of acute and chronic disease. General etiology .Physiological and pathological predisposing factors. Causes of disease :physical, chemical, biological. Virulence. Pathogenicity. Transmission ofinfections. Pathogenic action. General properties of the immune system. .OTOLARYNGOLOGY : Ear, pharynges and laryngesanatomy. Hearing assessment. Risk factors. 

To be enrolled in the 5th year of the Master Course Medicine and Surgery

Lessons will be provided in presence, subject to any ministerial changes following the COVID pandemic situation

Second Semester

Written exam: quizzes with single / multiple choice and open questions with brief answer. 

Final oral exam at the discretion of the teacher or on the student's proposal regarding the project
