Obiettivi

Il corso ha la finalità di fornire allo studente attraverso lezioni corredate di immagini e attraverso la didattica non formale le nozioni principali di patologia e di chirurgia del distretto cervico-facciale. Il corso mira a porre lo studente nelle condizioni di: - Conoscere: l’anatomia, la fisiologia, l’esame obiettivo del distretto cervico-facciale - Conoscere: l’eziologia, l’epidemiologia, la patogenesi, la sintomatologia, la diagnosi differenziale e la prognosi delle malattie del distretto cervico-facciale.

 


Contenuti sintetici

Sapere identificare, integrando le informazioni dello studio nosologico, fisiopatologico e clinico gli elementi caratteristici delle patologie ORL di più frequente riscontro.

PATOLOGIA NASALE, DEI SENI PARANASALI E DEL RINOFARINGE - Sintomatologia e diagnosi differenziali dell’ostruzione nasale, rinorrea, rinolalia, roncopatie, algie facciali. - Epistassi, processi infiammatori rinosinusali acuti e cronici, rinopatie, corpi estranei nasali. - Tumori benigni e maligni del rinofaringe, dei seni paranasali e delle fosse nasali

PATOLOGIA DELL’OROFARINGE - Sintomatologia e diagnosi differenziali della disfagia, odinofagia, trisma - Processi infiammatori acuti e cronici, ipertrofia del palato molle e roncopatia - Corpi estranei, tumori benigni e maligni - Funzione gustativa e sue modificazioni

PATOLOGIA DELLE GHIANDOLE SALIVARI - Sintomatologia e diagnosi differenziali, processi infiammatori acuti e cronici, litiasi, tumori benigni e maligni

PATOLOGIA DELLA LARINGE E DELL’IPOFARINGE E DEL COLLO - Sintomatologia e diagnosi differenziali della dispnea, disfonia, disfagia, tosse, delle masse del collo: laterali e mediali - Processi infiammatori acuti e cronici, patologia delle corde vocali, paralisi delle corde vocali, tumori benigni e maligni, tracheotomia.

PATOLOGIA DELL’ORECCHIO - Sintomatologia e diagnosi differenziali dell’otalgia, otodinia, otorrea, ipoacusia, acufeni, vertigini. - principi di audiovestibologia - Processi infiammatori dell’orecchio esterno, medio e loro complicanze - Tumori benigni e maligni PATOLOGIA DEI NERVI CRANICI: II, V, VII, VIII, IX, X, XI, XII

Aims

The aim of the course is to give to the student the principal basics of pathology and surgery of head and neck disistrict.

At the end of the course, the student will be able to know

  • the anato-physiology and clinical exam
  • etiopathogenesis, epidemiology, clinical manifestations, differential diagnosis and prognosis

of the main diseases of the facial cervical diseases.

 


 


To identify the main features of the pricipal diseases of the Head and neck district by nosological, physiopathological and clinical study

 



NASAL, PARANASAL AND RHINOPHARYNX PATHOLOGY- Manifestations and diagnostic iter in nasal obstruction, rhinolalia, roncopathy and facial pain. Physiopathology and management of epistaxis. Acute and chronic disease of paranasal sinuses. Neoplastic pathology of rhinopharynx, nasal sinuses and nose.

OROPHARYNX PATHOLOGY- Disorders of the oral cavity and oropharynx including: disphagia,odynophagia and trismus, flogistic processes, snoring and taste disorders. Foreign bodies. Neoplastic pathology.

SALIVAR GLAND PATHOLOGY- Manifestations and differential diagnosis, flogistic processes, lithiasis and neoplastic pathology.

LARYNX AND HYPOPHARYNX PATHOLOGY- Manifestations and differential diagnosis of dyspnea, dysphonia, dysphagia, cought, acute and chronic diseases of vocal fold and basics of neoplastic pathology. Tracheostomy. Lateral and medial neck masses.

EAR PATHOLOGY -basics of Audiology and vestibology; otology: physiopathology of external, middle and internal ear disorders - both flogistic and neoplatic.

Pathology of cranial nerves.
