Fornire agli studenti gli strumenti conoscitivi per evidenziare il momento epistemologico che ha permesso a Tourette la descrizione della sindrome che porta il suo nome comprendere e mettere in luce il contributo della medicina veterinaria alla medicina umana nell’identificazione dei tic come condizioni patologiche e non solo curiosità biografiche. Discutere di come tali patologie hanno una base organica e non sono solo manifestazioni psichiche e mostrare quali sono le attuali strategie terapeutiche.

 


Storia dei tic e loro manifestazioni cliniche, con particolare riferimento alla sindrome di Tourette. Terapia farmacologica e chirurgica, approccio riabilitativo e psicologico.

Provide students with the cognitive tools to highlight the epistemological moment that allowed Tourette the description of the syndrome that bears his name to understand and highlight the contribution of veterinary medicine to human medicine in identifying tics as pathological conditions and not just curiosity biographical. Discuss how these pathologies have an organic basis and are not just psychic manifestations and show what the current therapeutic strategies are.

History of tics and their clinical manifestations, with particular reference to Tourette's syndrome. Pharmacological and surgical therapy, rehabilitation and psychological approach.
