Obiettivi
Fornire le conoscenze pratiche essenziali riferibili alle scienze del comportamento nella prospettiva della futura applicazioni professionale in ambito clinico.
a) individuare e diagnosticare gli specifici Disturbi Mentali a partire dalla teoria eziopatogenetica biopsicosociale
b) individuare le terapie più utili alla cura del paziente affetto da Disturbo Mentale a partire dalle Linee-guida sul trattamento psichiatrico derivanti dalla medicina basata sulle evidenze
c) individuare la complessità della relazione con il paziente affetto da Disturbo Mentale
d) comprendere l’importanza ed utilizzare le informazioni relative al contesto psicosociale nell’ambito della cura e della riabilitazione del paziente affetto da Disturbo Mentale
e) selezionare alcuni elementi fondanti finalizzati all’informazione ed alla psicoeducazione del paziente affetto da Disturbo mentale e della sua famiglia su temi centrali quali: la patologia in atto; l’instaurarsi di una valida relazione terapeutica; il miglioramento costante dell’adesione e della compliance terapeutica

Fornire allo studente frequentatore le conoscenze di base sulla gestione ambulatoriale del paziente condisturbi psichiatrici. Lo studente affiacherà il tutor durante la sua giornata lavorativa
Prerequisiti
Essere iscritti al V anno del CdS in medicina e Chirurgia
Modalità didattica
Gli studenti avranno la possibilità di affiancare gli psichiatri in tutti gli ambiti del loro lavoro clinico (Reparto, Pronto Soccorso, Attività territoriali di routine, Attività ambulatoriali specifiche, Residenzialità terapeutico-riabilitativa)

Aims
The Course provides the student with the essential theoretical knowledge related to Behavioural Sciences with a view on their subsequent professional application in the clinical context.
a) the identification and diagnosis of specific mental disorders starting from the biopsychosocial etiopathogenetic theory
b) the identification of the most useful therapies to the care and cure of the patient suffering from mental disorder, starting from the Guidelines of psychiatric treatment deriving from the EBM approach
a) the identification of the complexity of the relationship with the patient suffering from mental disorder
b) the understanding of the importance and the application of the information deriving from the psychosocial context in the care, cure and rehabilitation of a patient suffering from mental disorder
c) the selection of a few basic elements designed to provide information and psychoeducation to the patient with mental disorder and his family about main topics such as: the disease in progress; developing a good therapeutic relationship; the improvement of the therapeutic adherence and compliance
Contents
outpatient management of patients with psychiatric disorders
Detailed program
Provide the attending student with basic knowledge on outpatient management of patients with psychiatric disorders. The student will be with the tutor during his working day
Prerequisites
To be enrolled in the 5th year of the Master course in Medicine and Surgery
Teaching form
the students will have the chance to shadow psychiatrists in all scopes of their clinical day-to-day work (Ward, Emergency Room, Routine Activities on the Territory, Specific Outpatient Activities, Residential Therapeutic Rehabilitation)

If necessary, it will be detailed during the internship
Semester
Whole year by agreement between the student and the tutor
