The course is divided in three sections.

The first part is composed of lectures where different topics of environmental sustainability are exposed and discussed (i.e. metrics for sustainability, macro-ecology and big data for sustainable development, ecological and carbon footprint analysis, Life cycle assessment …).

The second section of the course will be a common discussion around a selected group of scientific papers. Participants, separately or in groups, will discuss and will lead the discussion of the different papers.

The last part of the course is linked to practical issues: a software for LCA with practical exercises will be carried out.
