Anamnesi, Ragionamento diagnostico dei sintomi, Principali segni e sintomi clinici relativi a patologie mediche e chirurgiche dell’apparato cardiovascolare. Ruolo, limiti e finalità dei test di laboratorio
Contenuti sintetici
Raccolta elementi di anamnesi ed esecuzione esame obiettivo generale e specifico e test di laboratorio per apparati cardiovascolare . Diagnostica differenziale dei sintomi delle principali malattie dell'apparato.
Programma esteso
Disturbi del ritmo cardiaco
- Aritmie ipocinetiche
- Aritmie ipercinetiche
- Principi di elettrofisiologia ed elettrostimolazione
- Indicazioni all’impianto di PM e ICD
Sincope e lipotimia
- Meccanismi e diagnosi fisio-patogenetica delle varie forme di sincope
- Gestione del paziente e follow-up
Shock
- Fisiologia ed eziopatogenesi delle diverse forme di shock
Presentazione clinica, inquadramento diagnostico strumentale e gestione del paziente in stato di shock
Prerequisiti
Conoscenze relative ai corsi propedeutici indicati nel regolamento del corso di laurea
Modalità didattica
Lezioni frontali ed esercitazioni. Nel periodo di emergenza Covid-19 le lezioni si svolgeranno da remoto asincrono con eventi in videoconferenza sincrona

Aims
Patient’s history taking, with focus on cardiovascular and respiratory problems, Diagnostic assessment with critical data interpretation, Physical examination, Main clinical signs and symptoms. Knowledge of normal ranges of the main diagnostic tests for the cardiovascular system.
Contents
Collection and interpretation of patients’ medical history, main signs and symptoms of cardiovascular diseases. To provide the tools for the correct use of biochemical tests, and the definition of their indications and interpretation. Information on how to perform correctly a physical examination with particular regards to venous and arterial vessels, as well as to cardiovascular system.

Heart Rhythm Disorders
- Hypokinetic arrhythmias
- Hyperkinetic arrhythmias
- Genesis of cardiac arrhythmias
- Indications for cardiac pacemakers and cardioverter-defibrillators
Syncope and hypotension
- Pathophysiological mechanisms and diagnosis of the various forms of syncope
- Clinical management and follow-up
Shock
- Physiology and etio-pathogenesis of the various forms of shock
- Clinical presentation and management
Prerequisites
Propaedeutic skills as indicated in the main program of the School of Medicine and Surgery
Teaching form
Lectures and practical training provided in presence, subject to any changes in ministerial laws following the COVID pandemic situation
