Al termine del corso lo studente dovrà essere in grado di descrivere i quadri clinici tipici delle patologie a carico del sistema nervoso, dovrà inoltre comprendere le modalità di espressione clinica dell’alterato sviluppo del sistema nervoso

NEUROLOGIA INFANTILE 2: Il Sistema Motorio: i disturbi e le alterazioni del movimento e delle posture nelle malattie dei gangli della base e cerebellari. I disturbi dell’equilibrio e della deambulazione. I nervi cranici.

 Il sistema motorio

 L'esame della funzione motoria: deficit motorio, anomalie della forza, del tono, dei riflessi; disordini della coordinazione e della programmazione, movimenti involontari.

 Semeiologia piramidale, extrapiramidale, cerebellare.

 Esame della sensibilità e relativi disturbi del sistema sensitivo

 Le lesioni dei nervi periferici

 I nervi cranici: funzioni e deficit

 La funzioni visiva: disturbi di origine periferica e centrale

 La funzione uditiva: deficit uditivi eziopatogenesi e valutazione

 Disturbi del sistema vestibolare

 L’esame neurologico: sintesi

 Stati di coscienza e vigilanza

Nel periodo di emergenza Covid-19 le lezioni si svolgeranno da remoto asincrono con eventi in videoconferenza sincrona

By the end of the course, the participants will be able to describe the typical clinical framework of disorders of the nervous system. The students will also understand the clinical expression of the altered development of the nervous system,

CHILD NEUROLOGY 2: The Motor System: movement and postural disorders and alterations in Base Ganglion and Cerebellum pathology. Equilibrium and gait disorders. Cranial Nerves.

 Examination of motor function: motor deficit, abnormal strength, tone, reflexes, disturbances of coordination and planning, involuntary movements

 Pyramidal, extrapyramidal, cerebellar semeiology

 Examination of sensitivity and related disorders of sensory system

 Peripheral nerves lesions

 The cranial nerves: functions and deficits

 Visual function: disorders of peripheral and central origin

 Auditory function: etiology and assessment of hearing disorders

 Disorders of vestibular system

Written exam: quizzes with single / multiple choice and open questions with brief answer.

Final oral exam at the discretion of the teacher or on the student's proposal regarding the project
