Il modulo di Economia dell’Integrazione Europea si propone di offrire gli strumenti economici di base, a livello micro e macro, per analizzare il complesso processo dell'Integrazione.

Contenuti sintetici

Il corso si propone di offrire gli strumenti economici di base, a livello micro e macro, per analizzare il complesso processo dell'Integrazione Europea. Particolare attenzione è riservata ai modelli che interpretano le liberalizzazioni preferenziali, la crescita, il commercio estero, l'unione economica e monetaria e le relative politiche. Di anno in anno vengono selezionati alcuni approfondimenti per portare gli studenti alla frontiera della ricerca in Economia Internazionale, offrendo al tempo stesso un'applicazione concreta degli strumenti teorici studiati in classe.

Programma esteso

Il corso discute numerosi aspetti legati al processo di Integrazione Europea ed è strutturato in quattro parti:
a) La microeconomia dell’integrazione europea

b) La macroeconomia dell’integrazione europea

c) L'unione bancaria

d) I cambiamenti climatici e il nuovo "Green Deal"

Le lezioni si terranno in modalità elearning.

Learning objectives

The aim of the course of Economics of European Integration (4 CFU) is to offer the basic know how in economics, both the micro and macro levels, for analysing and studying the different steps of the European Integration.

Contents

The course discusses many aspects regarding the European integration process, and it is made up of four main parts:

A - Microeconomics of the European Integration - Market Size and Scale Effects, Economic Integration, Labour Markets and Migration, Location Effects, Economic Geography and Regional Policy, EU Competition and State Aid PolicyB - Macroeconomics of the European Integration - Optimum Currency Areas, Fiscal Policy and the Stability Pact, The European Monetary Union, The Euro Area Crisis

C - Banking Union

D - Climate Change and the Green New Deal
