The course consists of a series of lectures on different topics in nano-biotechnologies given by different experts in the field with a particular emphasis on the exploitation of nanostructured materials in different applications.
The following topics will be addressed:
- Synthesis and biofunctionalization of colloidal nanoparticles.
- Non-covalent interactions of proteins with nanoparticles.
- Nanostructured biomaterials for tissue regeneration.
- Protein-DNA interaction at single molecule level.
- Biomedical application of colloidal and biomimetic nanoparticles.
