Il corso si prefigge di fornire informazioni biologiche e cliniche sull’utilizzo di Inibitori di Tirosin Chinasi (TKI) nelle principali neoplasie ematologiche e solide

Uso di TKI e resistenza ad essi.

Le lezioni si propongono di fornire agli studenti gli elementi fondamentali riguardanti i principali TKI in uso, il loro meccanismo d’azione e i meccanismi di resistenza noti.

Verranno considerate le seguenti patologie:

  • Leucemia Mieloide Cronica
  • Linfomi ALK+
  • GIST
  • Tumori polmonari

Gli studenti devono essere iscritti almeno al 4° anno del CdL Magistrale in Medicina e Chirurgia

Lo studente deve conoscere le basi biologiche, molecolari e cellulari delle chinasi e delle malattie ematologiche.

Lezioni frontali e discussione critica di lavori pubblicati.

Il materiale didattico verrà fornito dal docente durante il corso

II semestre; febbraio-marzo

Presentazione da parte degli studenti di alcuni lavori scientifici.

Lessons aim to provide students with biological and clinical information on the use of Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitors (TKI) in solid and hematological neoplasias.

Use of TKI and resistance mechanisms.

Lessons aim to provide students with hematological key elements such as:

  • different TKI in use or in development;

  • their mechanisms of action;

  • mechanisms of resistance to TKI.

The neoplasias described will include: Chronic Myeloid Leukemia, ALK+ lymphomas, Lung cancer subtypes; GIST.

Students of the 4th year and over of the Medicine and Surgery course

Student must know biologic, molecular and cellular bases that can impact hematological diseases.

Lessons in attendance and journal club of selected papers.

The teacing resourse will be provided by the faculty during the course

II semester; February-March

Critical discussion of papers.
