Learning objectives

In many countries, corporations can be criminally tried and convicted for crimes committed in their interest by individual directors, managers, and even low-level employees.
This course will be dedicated to a comparative study of different models of assessing responsibility for crimes committed to benefit corporate interests. Mainly, the focus will be on Italian and Anglo-American systems of corporate criminal liability, to highlight both the common features and differences between the various jurisdictions.

The course will be held in English. Textbooks and materials will be indicated during the course.
