Obiettivi
Obiettivo generale
Al termine del corso lo studente sarà in grado di pianificare l’assistenza infermieristica alla persona sottoposta ad interventi di selezionati ambiti di chirurgia specialistica, identificando le priorità assistenziali e contestualizzando gli interventi di competenza.
Obiettivi intermedi
al termine del corso lo studente sarà in grado di:
--descrivere, per alcuni quadri clinici riferiti alla specialità selezionate:
* i dati rilevabili più frequentemente
* le diagnosi infermieristiche caratteristiche e relativi outcome
* i principali interventi infermieristici
* le modalità di valutazione del raggiungimento degli outcome assistenziali
-- descrivere la gestione di alcuni device sanitari e/o skill pratiche legate all'assistenza infermieristica a persone sottoposte a chirurgia specialistica

Il modulo affronta il processo di assistenza infermieristica applicato a persone sottoposte ad un interventi chirurgico di selezionati ambiti di chirurgia specialistica
Programma esteso
Assistenza infermieristica alla persona sottoposta ad intervento chirurgico toracico
persona sottoposta ad pneumectomia parziale/totale. Approfondimento sulla gestione del drenaggio pleurico/toracico e riconoscimento / gestione delle principali complicanze.
Assistenza infermieristica alla persona sottoposta ad intervento chirurgico ginecologico
persona sottoposta ad intervento chirurgico di tipo ginecologico di natura benigna od oncologica. Focus sulle problematiche legate alla menopausa fisiologica e chirurgica. Approfondimenro sull'esecuzione dell’autocateterismo vescicale.
Assistenza infermieristica alla persona sottoposta ad intervento cardiochirurgico
persona sottoposta ad intervento chirurgico di rivascolarizzazione miocardia, intervento chirurgico di riparazione/sostituzione valvolare, trapianto cardiaco e/o portatore di left ventricular assist device (LVAD) (cenni), effetti della circolazione extracorporea intraoperatoria (CEC)
Approfondimento sulla gestione dei fili epicardici e sulla medicazione della ferita sternale
Assistenza infermieristica alla persona sottoposta ad intervento addominale
persona sottoposta a confezionamento di stomia enterica o di derivazioni urinarie. Approfondimento sulla gestione dell'apparecchiatura e gestione delle stomie enteriche/urinarie, irrigazione della colostomia. Riconoscimento e gestione delle principali complicanze.
Assistenza infermieristica alla persona sottoposta ad intervento urologico
persona sottoposta a nefrectomia (cenni), intervento chirurgico di resezione prostatica, chirurgia urologica nell’uomo (fimosi, varicocele, tumore testicolare, ecc). Approfondimento sull'educazione all'autoesame genitale maschile, la gestione del lavaggio vescicale continuo
Assistenza infermieristica alla persona sottoposta ad intervento neurochirurgico
persona sottoposta a chirurgia intracranica. Approfondimento sulla rilevazione della Pressione Intracranica (PIC), gestione della derivazione ventricolare esterna (DVE) e interna (DVI) (cenni);
Assistenza infermieristica alla persona sottoposta ad intervento di otorinolaringoiatria
persona sottoposta a laringectomia totale, a tonsillectomia. Approfondimento sulla gestione della tracheostomia e riconoscimento / gestione delle principali complicanze.
Assistenza infermieristica alla persona sottoposta ad intervento di chirurgia bariatrica
persona sottoposta ad interventi di sleeve gastrectomy, bypass gastrico, diversione bilio-pancreatica, bendaggio gastrico regolabile. Approfondimento sulla dumping syndrome
Assistenza infermieristica alla persona sottoposta ad intervento di maxillo-facciale

General Objective
At the end of the course, the student will be able to plan nursing care for the person undergoing surgery in selected areas of specialised surgery, identifying nursing priorities and contextualising the interventions.
Intermediate goals
at the end of the course the student will be able to:
--describe, for selected speciality-related clinical pictures
* the most frequently detectable data
* the characteristic nursing diagnoses and their outcomes
* the main nursing interventions
* the ways of assessing the achievement of nursing outcomes
-- to describe the management of certain health care devices and/or practical skills related to nursing care of persons undergoing specialised surgery
Contents
The module addresses the nursing care process applied to persons undergoing surgery in selected areas of specialised surgery
Detailed program
Nursing assistance to person undergoing thoracic surgery
person undergoing partial/total pneumectomy. In-depth study on the management of pleural/thoracic drainage and recognition/management of major complications.
Nursing care of person undergoing gynaecological surgery
person undergoing gynaecological surgery of a benign or oncological nature. Focus on issues related to physiological and surgical menopause. Focus on the performance of bladder self-catheterisation.
Nursing assistance to the person undergoing cardiac surgery.
person undergoing myocardial revascularisation surgery, valvular valve repair/replacement surgery, cardiac transplantation and/or left ventricular assist device (LVAD) wearer (hint), effects of intraoperative extracorporeal circulation (ECC)
Insight into epicardial wire management and sternal wound dressing
Nursing the person undergoing abdominal surgery
person undergoing enteric ostomy or urinary diversion surgery. In-depth study of equipment management and management of enteric/urinary ostomies, colostomy irrigation, and recognition/management of major complications.
Nursing assistance to the person undergoing urological surgery
person undergoing nephrectomy (outline), prostate resection surgery, urological surgery in men (phimosis, varicocele, testicular cancer, etc.) Insight into male genital self-examination education, management of continuous bladder washing
Nursing the person undergoing neurosurgery
person undergoing intracranial surgery. Insight into Intracranial Pressure (ICP) detection, management of the external ventricular shunt (DVE) and internal ventricular shunt (DVI) (hint);
Nursing care of the person undergoing ENT surgery.
person undergoing total laryngectomy, tonsillectomy. Insight into tracheostomy management and recognition/management of major complications.
Nursing care of person undergoing bariatric surgery
