Obiettivi

Fornire allo studente infermiere delle conoscenze specifiche sulla particolarità dell’assistenza al paziente affetto da malattie onco ematologiche, partendo da un approfondimento della clinica, passando alle procedure terapeutiche quali chemioterapia e trapianto di cellule staminali, fino ad approfondire gli aspetti relazionali

  1. L’approccio clinico assistenziale al paziente ematologico partendo da un’analisi del contesto organizzativo.
  2. La particolare fragilità delle persone assistite.
  3. Le principali patologie

Programma esteso

  • Introduzione del contesto organizzativo del reparto Ematologia;
  • Descrizione delle particolari caratteristiche ed esigenze della persona assistita;
  • Le patologie interessate;
  • L’importanza delle procedure diagnostiche e terapeutiche ai fini della diagnosi (Aspirato midollare; biopsia Ossea; Rachicentesi medicata; aferesi terapeutica)
  • Il trapianto di midollo (allogenico e Autologo);
  • La comunicazione e la relazione con l’esterno e i familiari del paziente;
  • Il supporto psicologico a pazienti, familiari e care giver.
  • L’evento fine vita come esito o complicanza della malattia;
  • La presa in carico del paziente dopo la dimissione

Iscrizione al 2^ anno di corso di Laurea In Infermieristica

Aims

Provide the nursing student with specific knowledge on the particularity assistance to the patient suffering from onco-haematological diseases, starting from an in-depth study of the clinic, moving on to therapeutic procedures such as chemotherapy and stem cell transplantation, deepening the relational aspects

Contents

  1. The care approach to the haematological patient starting from an analysis of the organizational context.
  2. The particular fragility of the assisted persons.
  3. The main pathologies

Detailed program

  • Introduction of the organizational context of Hematology department;
  • Description of the particular characteristics and needs of the assisted person;
  • The illnesses involved;
  • Nursing assistance to the main diagnostic and therapeutic
    procedures (bone marrow aspirate; bone biopsy; medicated rachicentesis; therapeutic apheresis)
  • Bone marrow transplant (allogeneic and autologous);
  • communication and relationship with the patient's relatives
  • Psychological support for family patients and caregivers.
  • The end of life event as a result or complication of the disease;
  • Taking charge of the patient after discharge

Prerequisites

Students must be enrolled in the second year of Bachelor Degree in Nursing Science
