L'attività formativa è volta ad acquisire le conoscenze necessarie ad ottenere un nuovo approccio metodologico ed operativo corretto,al fine di migliorare la salute orale del paziente attraverso i nuovi ausili che il mercato mette a disposizione.

Il corso si propone di fornire allo studente del Corso di Laurea in Igiene Dentale le basi teoriche e pratiche per affrontare le tecniche di igiene orale nel paziente ospedalizzato ed in comunità protette

1)Presentazione delle metodiche innovative: vantaggi, svantaggi, modalità d'utilizzo ed evidenze cliniche .

2) Applicazioni cliniche: preventive e terapeutiche

3)Campi d'utilizzo delle differenti metodologie applicate su pazienti pedo-ortodontici ed adulto-geriatrici

4) Azioni cliniche: sui tessuti dentali e sui tessuti parodontali.

5) Confronti tra passato e presente.

The training aims to acquire the knowledge necessary to get a new methodological approach and a operating properly one, in order to improve the oral health of the patient through the new devices that the market offers.

The course aims to provide students with the degree in dental hygiene practical and the theoretical basis for addressing the technique in need special patients

1)Introduction of new methods: advantages, disadvantages, way of use and clinical evidence.

2) Clinical application: preventive and therapeutic.

3) Ranges of use of different methodologies applied on pedo-orthodontic patients and adult-geriatric.

4) Clinical actions: on dental tissues and the periodontal tissues

5) Comparison between past and present
