Obiettivi formativi

  • Conoscere il processo di costruzione dell’identità del servizio sociale a livello internazionale.
  • Conoscere e comprendere i concetti di globalizzazione, sviluppo sostenibile e diritti umani nel contesto del servizio sociale.
  • Saper analizzare l'impatto fenomeni sociali globali sulla pratica del servizio sociale, a livello locale e globale.
  • Acquisire strumenti (teorici e operativi) per la policy advocacy.

  • L'applicazione delle teorie critiche nel servizio sociale internazionale
  • L’identità internazionale del servizio sociale
  • Il servizio sociale in Europa e nel mondo: modelli comparativi e studi di caso
  • La ‘global awareness’ e l’analisi di fenomeni sociali globali che sfidano la pratica del servizio sociale a livello locale, nazionale e internazionale
  • Gli interventi di advocacy e policy practice nel servizio sociale

Programma esteso

Prerequisiti

Conoscenze teoriche e metodologiche di base relative al servizio sociale e buone capacità di riflessione critica.

Metodi didattici

Le lezioni sono costruite alternando la discussione dei concetti teorici e l'analisi di progetti, esperienze e studi di caso.

Gli studenti frequentanti saranno coinvolti in un laboratorio per sviluppare competenze di policy advocacy

Le lezioni ospiteranno l’intervento studiosi e esperti a livello europeo e internazionale.

Modalità di verifica dell'apprendimento

Esame scritto.

Prerequisites

La conoscenza delle teorie, dei principi etici e delle tecniche del servizio sociale

Teaching methods

The lessons alternate discussions of theoretical concepts and with the analysis og projects, experiences and case studies from the field.

Attending students will be involved in a project work to develop social advocacy skills

Lessons will host contribution of scholars and experts at the European and international level.
