Questo è un corso progredito di macroeconomia. L'obiettivo è di presentare agli studenti i recenti sviluppi teorici della macroeconomia contemporanea.

- Introduzione alla moderna macroeconomia
- Modello di crescita, RBC, Modello a generazioni sovrapposte, Modello di Bewley con mercati incompleti
- Modello di Diamond-Dybvig, Fallimenti di coordinamento, concorsi di bellezza
- Modello di Search e matching
Prerequisiti
Il corso richiede delle conoscenze di base di analisi matematica, programmazione dinamica, teoria economica

This is an advanced course in macroeconomics. The goal is to introduce the student to the recent theoretical advances in contemporary macroeconomics.

The course will focus on the following topics
Growth and business cycles
Liquidity
Money and unemployment
Detailed program
The program will unfold as follows:
- Introduction to contemporary macroeconomics
- Growth model, RBC model, OLG model, Bewley model
- Diamond-Dybvig model, Coordination failures, Beauty contests
- Search and matching model
Prerequisites
The prerequisites are: calculus, dynamic programming, introductory game theory
