Obiettivi

Introdurre gli studenti in una prospettiva riabilitativa neurologica dove l'obiettivo terapeutico sia ottimizzare la funzione attraverso il recupero del movimento selettivo e il controllo posturale. Acquisire nuove tecniche e affinare la manualità per facilitare tale recupero

Presentazione del concetto Bobath applicato al paziente affetto da stroke

Programma esteso

Introduzione al concetto Bobath. Meccanismi centrali del controllo posturale.
Principi di trattamento: facilitazione, placing, guiding, punti chiave.
Riferimenti alle sequenze di movimento nella normalità.
Fase acuta: il concetto del trattamento 24 ore.
Considerazioni sul tronco e ricerca di attività selettiva tronco inferiore e superiore.
Passaggio supino/seduto e lavoro sul tronco in posizione seduta.
Passaggi letto carrozzina e seduto/in piedi.
Stazione eretta e cammino.
Sollecitare il recupero del braccio e della mano minimizzando le reazioni associate: attività in catena cinetica chiusa e aperta.

Aims

To introduce students in a neurological rehabilitation perspective, where the therapeutic goal is to optimize the function through the selective recovery of movement and postural control. To learn new techniques and hone the skill to facilitate such recovery

Contents

The course will present the Bobath concept applied in stroke patient assessment and treatment

Detailed program

Introduction to the Bobath concept. Central mechanisms of postural control. Principles of treatment: facilitation, placing, guiding, key points. References to the sequences of movement in the normal range. Acute phase: the concept of the 24 hours treatment. Considerations on the trunk and research activities of selective upper and lower trunk. Step supine / seated and work on the trunk in a sitting position. Steps wheelchair bed and sitting standing. Standing and walking. Encourage the recovery of arm and hand while minimizing associated reactions: activity in closed and open kinetic chain.
