L’obiettivo del corso è di fornire allo studente nozioni riguardanti la diagnosi e terapia endoscopica delle patologie dell’apparato digerente

Contenuti sintetici

Introduzione delle conoscenze fondamentali dell’endoscopia digestiva diagnostica e terapeutica, quando impiegarla e le potenziali complicanze procedurali. Presentazione dei dispositivi e delle tecniche endoscopiche con discussione dei vantaggi ed i limiti della procedura.

Programma esteso

Questo corso è focalizzato un'esplorazione approfondita delle tecniche di endoscopia interventistica, concentrandosi sulla loro applicazione nella diagnosi e nel trattamento delle malattie gastrointestinali. Gli studenti apprenderanno gli ultimi sviluppi, le attrezzature e le competenze procedurali coinvolte nell'endoscopia interventistica, con un'attenzione particolare sia alla comprensione teorica che all'applicazione pratica. Sarà posta particolare enfasi su tecniche all'avanguardia, competenze procedurali e presa di decisioni nel contesto delle interventistiche biliari e pancreatiche.

Prerequisiti

Essere iscritti al quarto anno del corso di medicina e Chirurgia o oltre

Conoscenze della fisiologia e della patologia del tratto gastro-intestinale

Aims

The aim of the course is to provide the student with knowledge regarding the diagnosis and endoscopic therapy of digestive system diseases

Contents

Introduction of the fundamental knowledge of diagnostic and therapeutic digestive endoscopy, when to use it and the potential procedural complications. Presentation of endoscopic devices and techniques with discussion of the advantages and limitations of the procedure.

Detailed program

This course provides an in-depth exploration of interventional endoscopy techniques, focusing on their application in the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases. Students will learn about the latest advancements, equipment, and procedural skills involved in interventional endoscopy, with an emphasis on both theoretical understanding and practical application. Emphasis will be placed on cutting-edge techniques, procedural skills, and decision-making in the context of biliary and pancreatic interventions.

Students of the 4th year and over of the Master course in Medicine and Surgery

Knowledge of the physiology and pathology of the GI tract
